the plot.

while some haunted houses can seem a little hokey — filled with actors dressed as ghouls, goblins, mad scientists, and frankenstein’s monsters — there are several spots around the globe with real reputations for being truly haunted.

some of these places are shrouded in mystery, with legends passed down for centuries. others are much newer, but are steeped in their tragic pasts. whether these places are from the 12th or 20th century, each has an interesting history — with plenty of sightings and creepy experiences. even if you don’t have a ghostly encounter at one of these destinations, at least you’ll still get a fascinating history lesson out of your trip.

and ghost hunters everywhere are always trying to catch a glimpse of a ghost wandering a haunted hallway, hear mysterious voices in an empty room, or even feel a chill as their investigating a dark corridor.

no matter where you are in the world, there’s probably a haunted house, hotel, or old historical site that’s waiting for you to visit. not only are there plenty of places to send a chill up your spine in the u.s. — from the winchester mystery house, in california, to gettysburg, pennsylvania — you can also jump across the pond for even more eerie destinations.

the goal of paranormal society is to connect with the spirits that are left in these places. they travel around the world and document their journeys to share with the world, proving that there is life beyond what many believe.

the rules.

BASED —  our  muses  are  at  a  mutual  friend’s  wedding  &  got  assigned  seats  next  to  each  other.  ~  neither  one  of  our  muse’s  have  a  date  &  my  muse  asks  to  dance  with  yours.

The tie was uncomfortable, it pinched oddly at the nape of his neck. But he’s being a good sport, it is a wedding after all. Some work friend of his mother, and his harebrained mother had dragged him a long. He only agreed because he knew it would be a single child free evening. He tried to mingle politely amongst the other party goers. The ceremony had been beautiful, he would admit to tearing up if anyone asked. The party had moved to the dinner portion of the evening, and much to August’s shock, he was not sat next to his own mother. His brow furrowed in confusion. She was sitting a few tables away, laughing obnoxiously with the bride. Typical. He tsked, but sat in the seat with his name card in front. The seat directly to his left got filled quickly. A girl, a pretty one at that. He sipped at his wine glass and decided to muster up the courage to introduce himself.

“Hi there,” He began with a smile. “Looks like we’re going to stuck with each other for a moment. I’m Gus. Beautiful ceremony right?”

                          he can’t believe what he’s hearing.  first,   a refusal of a breakup followed by  ‘  permission  ’  to go and sleep with some other women before coming back to jordyn.   had to be an idiot to pass it up,   or to take it.   frowns again in this conversation,   squinting hard at jordyn,   trying to fully see behind an icy glare.   “  okay,   ”   voice drags out the word,   straightening himself out and shoving hands deep in his pockets.   “  girlfriend’s a strong word.    no one thinks we’re gonna last.   what’s the average?   three months?    —  you don’t want to fuck anybody?   ”

                           needed to pick up a job to make some cash in-between races,    didn’t think personal driving would be more THREATENING to his persons than street racing.   yet with the inability to follow the rules,   cristiano found himself involved with the troublesome princess in the backseat.   her presence is unexpected and he’s all the more tense as he drives.   thinks he’s about to be FIRED with the jolt of the car,   fingers wrapping tightly around the wheel as his name falls from her lips.    “   i’m sorry,   ms.  torrero,    ”    cristiano apologizes,   meeting her eyes in the rearview mirror,   smirking ever so slightly.   “  it won’t happen again.   ”    doesn’t have to drive too far to where mr.  torrero wanted to be,   discussing a time to come pick him up at the exact spot.   waits for him to enter the building before turning around in his seat,   brows raised at the vixen.  “   what are you doing here,   adelina?  i almost crashed.   — fuck,    you look good,  though.    ”

“i’m sorry–i shouldn’t have done that.” frankie couldn’t believe he just kissed his neighbor. he was already in a relationship with someone, granted that relationship was nearing it’s end, but that wasn’t an excuse to cheat on his significant other. his neighbor was just so attractive and fun to be around, and most importantly, they listened when frankie talked. a sure-fire way into his heart, and apparently his pants. “i should go..” frankie mumbled, his feet glued to the floor.

       𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 —— indeed, it suited them perfectly and 𝙧𝙞𝙤 didn’t want to break the bubble either. it could be their own little secret. for a moment 𝙧𝙞𝙤 allowed himself to really see her, she looked so soft but her eyes told him a different story. ‘ and you already know i have none of those ‘ he said, tilting his head back a little. he got closer, to some this would be on the edge of intimidating, but he trusted she wasn’t gonna back away. ‘ so what do we do with our lack of purity? ‘ he asked against the air that separated them.

another roll of her eyes, sofia huffed at the words from aylin’s lips.  ❝ i do understand that concern. ❞   given her history, it was a likely conclusion. sofia would want to take the credit for her own work, though.  ❝ i didn’t see who started it… but you gotta believe me. have i ever denied starting a fire that i actually started before? ❞

!!!: cristiano is a personal driver and has been hired y/m’s family, keeps to himself but can’t seem to keep away from the boss’s kid

                          remains silent while his boss is still in the car, answering simple questions that are thrown his way and glances occasionally into his rearview mirror to make eye contact with the other passenger. several rules were made for cristiano, commandments even. don’t steal, be late, alter the car, bet on behalf of the company — but most of all, don’t engage in relations with his child. he’s just a driver, not a suitable match. cristiano couldn’t help himself. distracted by the knowing look and smirk of the other, has to slam on the brakes to avoid running a red light. “i’m sorry, sir. i thought i could make the light. however, we have almost arrived at your meeting.”

“did you just… bite me?!”   fina looked at them with a puzzled expression before bursting into laughter. 

                            “   right,  that’s what i’m saying.   we don’t do this anymore. we ——     we’re on for good,  i guess.   what the fuck,  jordyn?   ”   thought he made progress and is just right back where he started,   in a relationship.   mouth hangs open as she speaks,  pausing to make sure he was getting the information correct.   “ so… so you don’t want to break up,   but you’d let me fuck some other girl  —  not once, but a  ‘  few times  ’   —  and still want to do all that cuddly shit?   ”

   𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪 —– oh she would made the prettiest bonnie. his caramel brown eyes never left her features as she made her proposition. he was impressed. it was not everyday he received partnership proposals, but this was still work. his life’s masterwork. ‘ i like the part of not dying, key to the line of work ‘ he commented. ‘  but i already have minions in crime - that sounded odd, but whatever - what do you really want to get out from this? ‘
