Rudy, Grade 2 Fixer

Hello, I am Rudy! A Grade 2 Fixer, one of the three members of the Chargehammer Office, located within District 23. A good friend of mind suggested I made this blog, in order to document some of my experiences, for they might be fun to read about. The Chargehammer office is sponsored by... An anonymous source! Again, I assumed they had such a thing from the beginning, at least in a more vague sense. I am assuming you are referring to a more traditional human body, which would be a intriguing revelation, but even a non-physical form can be a body, in my opinion.

Hm? The voice? Oh, are you referring to the Distorting Voice? How very odd for such a entity to be only be "human" now. I recall seeing them as a human when I once heard their voice, so I was under the assumption that they were always a human, at least to some extent.

This is the story of how I went birdwatching with several Proxies of the Index! It all began on a rather plain day. I hadn't got any missions of any relevance in several days, and so I was just lazing around at my desk. I was considering going on a binge across the City, getting small dishes from all of my favorite restaurants, but right as I got up to leave, there was a rather loud knock on the Office Door! Now, normally, I wouldn't mind this. Anetta, the Office Representative, usually handles these things, but today she was out of the Office, for a reason I can't quite recall. But seeing as she was not there, I had to get the door myself. Truth be told, I was ready to tell whoever was there that the Office wasn't open, but nothing could've prepared me for what was actually there. See, I'd like to consider myself a pretty competent guy. I'm a Grade 2 Fixer, of course, but I'd say I'm a better fighter then most Grade 1 Fixers. I've even taken on a few Star of the City level threats on my own, so it takes quite a bit to actually shake me up! However, five Proxies of the Index at my doorstep is definitely beyond the threshold required to worry me, at least a bit. I highly doubt I could beat all five of them on my own, so I was very much so hoping that they did not have a Prescript requiring them to attack me. We simply stared at each other for a few seconds, before I, as politely as I could, asked them what they needed. They told me not to be worried, which alleviated my anxiety partially, but knowing the Index they could still fully intend to kill me. Luckily, they very quickly made themselves clear! They informed me of their prescript, that being to find the nearest Grade 2 Fixer Office, and to go Birdwatching with a Fixer inside. I was a bit baffled, but as I had nothing else to do, and because I felt it would've been a very terrible decision to deny them. Now, the actual Birdwatching was somewhat hard to do. See, I live in the Backstreets of District 23, and there simply aren't many places that you can find large groups of Birds out here. None of them knew of any forests or other such areas where birds might flourish, and I personally don't like wandering the Backstreets of 23 much, so I was even more lost then they were. We spent about an hour just wandering around, feeling like fools, before we finally decided to try and ask somewhat who might actually know. None of the Proxies had many contacts, but luckily I happened to know of someone who might be able to help! See, as a foodie, I like to enjoy all sorts of restaurants. I've gone to quite a few of the local restaurants in the backstreets, and while most only serve the flesh of fellow humans, I knew of one who served some freshly caught bird! So, I led the Proxies to the restaurant, and we asked the owner where he caught the birds. Before we got an answer, he simply insisted that we must get a meal, so we took a bit of a break to eat, before asking again. He told us of a decently sized local park, where you could find quite a few birds. So, we took off, arriving at the park rather quickly, and just staying there for a few hours. It wasn't exactly a good session of Birdwatching, given it was mostly pigeons, but it was still Birdwatching. After a while, the Proxies began to get up to leave, and so did I, bidding them all farewell! I've actually seen them around a few times since then, and we always politely wave when coming across each other.

OOC. Rudy took a powerful blow during his time at W Corp, one which both took his eye and put a vicious scar upon his face. Though it caused him to leave W Corp, he cherishes it deeply :)

OOC. Rudy was a member of the Cinq assocation in the past! Though that was a temporary thing + I doubt him as he is now would rejoin them. As of current if he were to join an association I think it'd be either Zwei or Oufi, maybe? But more likely Zwei then Oufi ? Or maybe even Devyat since it'd let him travel across the City more(And therefore get more opportunities to slack off and head to random restaurants) but also the fact that you have to deliver the packages. Somewhat quickly. Probably negates that. He'd probably like Zwei and Oufi because the work itself doesn't require "too" much effort? I say Oufi less because the actual reading of contracts and other paperwork thats liekly involved isn't something he enjoys all that much. Also theres another thing with Zwei but I don't wanna. "Spoil"? It ? Maybe I'll come back to this later .
