Welcome to the Blog!!
Hii, I'm Ruby! I'm a big gaming fan, up and coming content creator, occasional writer and scarily prone to hyperfixations!!
I'm also a transgender woman, lesbian, very likely to be neurodiverse and tend to be quite the yapper.
This blog of mine is where I'll share my thoughts on media I enjoy, experiences I have, opinions I feel are worth sharing and probably just a lot of random (but coherent) nonsense.
I'm not one to go too crazy with tags but here are the current ones I'll be using and what they mean:
#ruby's randomness: For small posts, often just thoughts I have that I feel are worth sharing with the world as well as posts that don't fit into any other tag of mine. Anything goes!
#random ruby rupdate: Life updates! Short and sweet, mostly pertaining to this blog or my other social media but sometimes irl Ruby stuff too!
#profound witch knowledge: Asks! I love answering people's questions so feel free to send some my way and boost my ever-growing ego!
#ruby rambles: More in-depth posts, ones I put a relatively large amount of time and effort into, often many a paragraph long or just a big big wall of text. Expect me to review media, analyze characters and discuss things I just want to get off my chest.
#ruby reblog ramble: Same thing but for a post I reblog. I put more unfocused generalized reblogs on @rubyreblogs so feel free to follow that companion blog for the full rubywitchcraft experience!
#ruby really really rambles: These might as well be scripts for a video or something along those lines, get your reading glasses ready.
#rufus goes wruff: Puppy plushie posting!
Aaaand that's it! Not a lot because my brain can't handle a lot (but this is also totally subject to change, there could be more in the future)
So, what do I like? Off the top of my head, Guilty Gear (main thing for me right now), Mascot Platformers, Indie games, RPG's with satisfying combat systems, writing (world building, character writing, fan fiction, gay shit, etc.), hiking, anime (kind of new to it actually, but have a few I really enjoy), programming (new to this too, but a very big fan of messing about in different languages and programs), open source software (I will be talking a lot about my favourite apps and yes, Linux as well), and finally, abolishing the patriarchy, diversity, inclusivity, equality, women's rights, and LGBTQ+ rights!!
Expect me to yap about all of those and more!
And I do believe that that's everything there is to say, thanks for reading and thanks for dropping by!
