She had gotten home from a difficult day at work. Her focus was so skewed, her mind more on Ashton and Dahlia and Ruby, who she was sure was the one who let it slip. Arriving home, she dropped her bag by the door, her face contorted into a scowl. “I guess the bright side of this quarantine is also spilling secrets that aren’t yours’. Right, Roo?”
She felt the blood drain from her face as Cerise’s words registered. This wasn’t supposed to be how it happened, she was supposed to tell Cerise before she found out, before Ashton found her. “Just to be sure... what secret are you talking about?” Ruby wasn’t sure why she was even asking that question - there was only one secret she had spilled since the quarantine had started.
