Me after having a complete meltdown about the way I look lol. It seems that everyone I talk to has a problem with their self-image and it makes me wonder why so many people are affected. Our society is one that values beauty- and we often think beauty is one specific look when we see ourselves in the mirror without those qualities. But all around us we see beauty in people and objects that are unique and maybe not the standard. You may not be perfect, but you are still beautiful!

I've been on a really weird journey of discovery this year and despite the progress, it is far from over. I was wondering why I felt so confused about my sexuality. I had always been fairly certain that I was straight, but I met someone this year that changed my perspective. I've been trying to find a label for myself- am I bi, pan, etc... But I came to the conclusion that the label doesn't matter. For many, it can be comforting to attach a label to their sexuality because it normalizes them while simultaneously introducing them to a community. I want to feel like I am not confined by these words and can live out my sexuality however it happens~

Sometimes you just gotta post a selfie and feel good for a couple seconds cause lord knows the feeling won't last
