(Un)owned boy

I resent the notion that everything sexy that encompasses a part of one's anatomy is called a "lock" these days. It cheapens the notion of what the word "lock" entails. One would think in the classical sense that a lock renders something immovable without authorization. The authorization usually comes in the form of some "key" bitted in a customized manner such that it would be highly uncommon, or even rare, to find something that would render the item movable again by happenstance. Take, for example, the idea of a silicone "cock lock." It's just patently absurd that such a thing could be made of a material so stretchy and easy to defeat as silicone if the idea is to lock up a cock. Similarly, an "ass lock" just being a butt plug that attaches to a cock ring is also absurd. There is simply nothing that renders either object irremovable when used without plenty of other items far more worthy of being called "locks," for example, a pair of leather restraints fastened around the wrists and fastened together with A SET OF PADLOCKS. Am I the only boy who resents the notion of something one can don and doff by oneself being called a "lock"? Frankly, the mere concept is a huge turn off to me. I can't even begin to imagine how the idea even remotely resonates with the BDSM community, unless this whole line of argument means I'm just an elitist prick. I refuse to believe it does.

So I'm flipping through my feed this morning and I run across something that makes me do a double take. Seriously, guys.
