I think that I understand at least 90% of the time.

That's a pretty good percentage, way more than I'd expect from someone.

Yeah, I know.  But- and I know this is stupid- it always kind of feels like the calm before another storm.

Yeah, they have been.  It's kind of unreal.

Maybe my perception of time is warped since, you know, I’ve jumped through it more than a few years.

I don't think it's that, especially since you haven't done any jumping around recently.  It's more like it's been a long two years that have certainly changed a lot.

It feels like it’s been longer but also not nearly as long at the same time, if that makes sense.

I getcha, it totally does make sense, even if these days I'm really feeling the very long time thing.

It's been a weird two years.  It kind of feels like it's been even longer than that.

It'll be two years since our first date by the end of the week; I definitely do by now.  And so you should know that I'm going to point out that there's so much fantastic about you.  Far too much to linger so much on your flaws.

I’m not perfect.  I don’t always make the best choices or do the best thing.

Of course you're not perfect- you're human- but even when people are making mistakes, they can still be good influences.

I'm exactly not hoping for it either, but, on the bright side, last time was pretty fun.  Possibly still the best spring break I've had.

I mean, a lot of things would work that have happened to us over the past couple years; we've basically gotten degrees in emergencies of all kinds.  Maybe another building will fall on my head or something.

Yeah, hopefully it’s just a visit and not a visit because of something bad.

That'd be ideal, but I'd take a minor emergency too, depending on what it was.

I meant more to visit than anything.

Oh, yeah, then I'd imagine so.  Hopefully under good circumstances, but at the very least one of us will have some kind of serious issue and we can reunite under bittersweet circumstances.
