Why?

So, I’d like to tell you a story. The picture up there is of my cousin and his son, Wyatt and was taken last week. My cousin just graduated high school. When he found out his girlfriend was pregnant, instead of freaking out, he was ecstatic. When his family and girlfriend were worried, he was the voice of hope and happiness. Yeah, he was young, but he knew he wanted to be a dad. To support his girlfriend and baby, he picked up two jobs and found a nice apartment they could live in that would be comfortable and affordable. Preston (my cousin) did everything he could to make sure they were happy and that the baby would have a good home. However, a few weeks before the baby was due, his girlfriend told him she didn’t want the baby and that she was putting him up for adoption. Preston ended up taking her to court so that instead of her giving up both their rights, he asked to keep his and be able to be the father to his unborn son. The judge denied his request and took away both the rights, but scheduled another court date so that my cousin could fight again to keep his rights.

Please sign this petition here  to help my cousin get his son back. It’s truly heartbreaking to see how someone could just take a son away from his father. I know my cousin very well and I know that’d he’d be a great and loving dad. Just the fact that he’s going through all this to fight for his son proves that he should have his rights back.
