I finally got a big girl job that will give me time to rp again... and I feel like I’ve burnt every bridge by sucking so bad with activity. But I miss it.
So, if anyone randomly wants to plot things or do anything, lemme know?
*crawls back into the trash pile from whence I came*
oh my god... i’m becoming karen walker.
This Blizzard Tho-
Seriously, this is shitty.
My sister and my brother’s gf seriously had to bundle up like the kid in A Christmas Story to walk roughly half a mile to a mile to work, even though they are both waitresses and will honestly not make anywhere near enough money to even wipe their asses with today.
My brother, who also will be walking because we all work on the same road, has work at 2pm, to work at a cigar shop. Cause who doesn’t like to get a nice cigar in the middle of a blizzard. That makes a ton of sense.
Did I mention that right now, 10am, the snow is already thigh high and it won’t be letting up in the next few hours. This shit will be most likely going into Sunday morning.
Theoretically, I have work at 4pm... but my bosses are nice enough people that I hope to christ they see reason and don’t make me walk through waist high snow to sit in an empty restaurant for four hours, only to hike back home, uphill, through a blizzard, in the dark.
I’m ranting, but seriously, this is some bullshit. I’m flying out of this innermost circle of hell on Tuesday, god willing, LA help meee!!!! I need sunshine and my bestie STAT!
Shuffled Lyric Prompts ( i )
“If you loved me, why’d you leave me?”
“You better shape up.”
“Sometimes love is not enough.”
“Choose your last words.”
“In the dead of night, I’m the only one here.”
“What are you waiting for?”
“I’m never changing who I am.”
“We were born to die.”
“I tried to make you mine.”
“I don’t know where I belong.”
“Hey, we’ve got a situation!”
“Now if we’re talking body, you’ve got a perfect one so put it on me.”
“As I looked around, I began to notice that we were nothing like the rest.”
“Boy, I’m not the kind of drum you play one time.”
“Where you are, I will be.”
“If you wanna go, I would not mind.”
“I wanna make this right.”
“You are mine, I am yours.”
“Are you gonna be my love?”
“Nothing else will do, I’ve gotta have you.”
“Stupidly think you had it under control.”
“Let me live.”
“She never asked me once about the wrong I did.”
“I don’t ever wanna let you down.”
“Love comes slow, and it goes so fast.”
“I’ve been living a lonely life.”
“Everything you touch surely dies.”
“Let’s not fuck around.”
“You’ll never be what you wanna be with all that money.”
“I know you struggle.”
“I packed my things and ran.”
“Nights like this, I become afraid of the darkness in my heart.”
“You didn’t know what you were getting yourself into.”
“All I want is – all I need is – to find somebody.”
“Dreams come slow, and they go so fast.”
“I’m the girl you’d die for.”
“We’re on each others team.”
“But it wasn’t my fault.”
“I don’t know where I went wrong.”
“You can make a true believer out of anyone that you want.”
“You can’t get enough.”
“I’m doing this for the thrill of it.”
“I belong with you, you belong with me.”
“No grave can hold my body down.”
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Secretly, I think you knew.”
“So this is what you meant when you said that you were spent.”
“I don’t ever wanna leave this town.”
“Are you gonna be mine?”
“In the mirror you’re a work of art, but this is real life.”
“Let me look in your eyes.”
“You’re getting higher than the ceiling lights.”
“I’m not thinking straight.”

Four Word . Prompts
“Please, come with me.”
“You’re always number one.”
“I can’t do this.”
“I won’t let you.”
“Maybe I’m just crazy.”
“I’m not even sorry.”
“Honestly, just stop it.”
“I believe in you.”
“Don’t be an ass.”
“Who were you with?”
“Please talk to me.”
“I can’t trust you.”
“I need you, though.”
“Don’t be fucking rude.”

“I don’t want you.”
“I’m not wearing that.”
“Sorry, were you sleeping?”
“This was never right.”
“You look really tired.”
“I’m out of here.”
“You need to go.”
“No one knows us here. I don’t even know myself.”
When he had begun to speak, Jen had been keeping her eyes on the people in the camp around them, watching people milling back and forth between campfires and tents. It made her feel a bit badly, since this was perhaps one of the nicest groups she’d come across and soon she would have to start hunting for the demon that was on it’s way to destroy them. As Luke finishes speaking, Jen slices her head to the left and frowns at him for a moment.
“You don’t know who you are or you don’t know who we are?” she asked, brow puckered in concern at what he could mean. She didn’t give him a chance to answer and instead turned to walk towards their borrowed tent for the night and began to answer her own questions. “Because, from where I stand, you’re a soldier. And a damn good one. You’re God’s special snowflake and a good man all wrapped up one, which kinda sucks but it’s also an advantage most people don’t have… and both sides of you are strong enough to handle it.” she says, and if she’s wrong about exactly what he is, she thinks that’s the best way her mind can wrap around it, so she hopes he won’t mind.
Reaching the tent, she crouches down and then falls to sit on the dead grass and dirt. Glancing up at him, he only raises an eyebrow and she knows he’s waiting for her to continue, though now she regrets opening herself up to speak about anything. “As for us… we’re… like partners or something.” Jen said, raking a hand through her hair before rooting through her bag for two cans of food. “We work well together, and we both are on the same page with things. I trust you more than anyone, ever.” she says and it bothers her how true that is. She trusts him more than Duncan, and maybe that is a side effect of the world now, or of the feelings she won’t voice. Glancing up at Luke, the left edges of her mouth pull up in a slight smirk. “You make sure I don’t bleed out, and I make sure you remember to eat.” she says, tossing him a can, making a small joke because although that statement was probably more true than either of them would be comfortable admitting seriously, the fact was they could survive without each other. Jen just didn’t want to do that if it could be helped. Patting the ground beside her. “C’mon, man. Let’s talk strategy for a while and revisit the existentialism later.”
“I’m leaving. And I’m not intending to come back.”
The words were said quietly, but with a sense of surety that twisted her stomach and made her clench her jaw to keep the nausea at bay. Tessa knew that there wasn’t an argument to be made. Lydia came and went as she pleased, always seeming a little more detached than everyone else. She didn’t come back with sad stories or trouble, in fact over the years they had known each other, it seemed that Lydia’s arrival always coincided with a deep feeling of relief, of believing that when she was here they all stood a better chance at surviving. Maybe that stemmed from Gettysburg, or maybe it was just something about the way the woman smiled, Tessa had never bothered to figure it out.
Looking around her living room she felt like this was the wrong place to hear those words. Her three children were out with Thomas and everyone else was working. Their little slice of safety was barely a shadow of what the world had been before, but it was home and, for her, it helped her feel like the rest of the world was saved too. But that wasn’t true, and that was obvious from Lydia’s departure. “When you say you don’t intend to come back… is it because you’re going to be busy or because you’re going to-” an unexpected lump in Tessa’s throat made her stop and look away. Perhaps the tiny brunette should have been more comfortable with the idea of people dying, but it wasn’t something she could ever truly be at peace with. Lydia didn’t respond, she just smiled, the lines around her eyes becoming more pronounced and she opened her arms up. Tessa moved forward and hugged her tightly, feeling like she was back in time, like this was only the beginning.
They didn’t say ‘I love you’. Tessa couldn’t speak for fear that it would just become a sob. She stood back and forced a smile, giving the woman a nod, which was the only way she could think to say she understood, even though she understood nothing. Lydia turned and walked out the front door, and true to her word, it was the last time Tessa ever saw her friend.

Basic Angst Starters
because sometimes what’s left to the imagination is much more terrifying.
“Are you feeling alright? You don’t look it.” “I just heard something… Something bad…” “Why didn’t you tell me about this?!” “What’s all this blood?!” “Will you tell me what the fuck is going on?” “Don’t give me that look! It wasn’t my fault!” “You should probably sit down for this.” “Please tell me you forgive me!” “I can’t live without you!” “Oh god, It was a mistake coming here… I’m sure of it.” “What the hell happened to you?!” “Where have you been?! I’ve been waiting for hours!” “You promised you wouldn’t do this anymore!” “I knew not to trust you!” “What’s that in your bag…? Is that–? Tell me it’s not!” “Is this what a dislocated shoulder feels like?!” “How could you do this to me?!” “Wake up! Wake up!!! You’re having a nightmare!” “I feel weird… what was in that drink…?” “I don’t want to leave you, but you’re not really giving me another option.” “Please… you’re scaring me…” “Ssh, I heard something again. How aren’t you hearing it? It was loud… and getting closer.” “Are you okay in there? You’ve been so quiet.” “I came as soon as I could! Did he/she get to you already?” “I don’t know whether I want to do this. I don’t know whether I CAN do this.” “Do you remember anything?” “You have to tell me who did this to you!” “No, no, I’m not alright. I’m definitely not alright.” “What’s your fucking problem?!” “Are you crying?” “You’re freaking me out! Please calm down!” “I’m leaving. And I’m not intending to come back.” “You… are dying?” “Did you drink the whole bottle while tripping? Seriously?” “Do you have a deathwish or something? Jesus!” “Ever been held at gunpoint? Want to know what it feels like?” “Stop screaming! Shh, calm down! You have to keep quiet!” “When’s the last time you slept?”.
SENTENCE MEME: Unteachable Version 3.
“I’m not like you, I don’t want to self-destruct.” “If you want to kill yourself, don’t do it in front of me. Don’t make me try to save you.” “No one had ever seen me as such a whole, rounded person.” “It’s amazing how much you can communicate without words.” “How screwed up must he be to get tangled in my life?” “What if I’d ruined it by lying, leaving?” “That’s part of what this is between us–the thrill of the taboo.” “It’s not just about me. In fact, it’s less about me than it is about you.” “That’s how you know someone loves you. When they want you to be happy even in the part of your life they’ll never see.” “She smiled like she knew everything about me and was proud.” “Is this how you see me? As an attention whore?” “My body was doing a damned fine imitation of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Girl, dissolving against the side of the house.” “You’re a predator. I’m pretty sure you’re the one corrupting me.” “I can’t hold on to you. You’re like that shooting star. Just a trail of fire in my hands.” “I don’t want you to worry, ever.” “I’d always be my mother’s daughter.” “What’s your problem?” “You act like you’re so mature, but you’re doing something you have to hide from everyone.” “You know I’m your friend, right?” “Why don’t you trust me?” “Did you drink all that yourself?” “This is how it ends. I blew it. I’m a fucking idiot.” “I haven’t been fair to you, and I didn’t realize how much stress I’ve been putting you under.” “This is me saying I’m going to do better.” “I want you to be happy.” “You mean more to me than you know.” “Seeing you miserable and drink breaks my heart.” “You’ve done something to me, too. I can’t get enough of you.” “What if I just wanted to live, and hadn’t truly come alive until I’d met him/her?” “No one knows us here. I don’t even know myself.” “He did it for love.” “All I saw was a big gorgeous fuck-you to the universe.” “Has there ever been a more effective line in the history of pickup lines than “I need you?”” “I need you tonight.” “Who am I to you?” “I like that you’re kind of fucked-up, because I’m kind of fucked-up.” “How do I make you feel?” “What, are you afraid of being loved?” “Has he given you any indication he’s going to leave you?” “Why are you scared?” “That’s another thing about lies: if you convince yourself they’re true, they become true. A lie is a discrepancy of of belief, not fact.” “What are you, pregnant?”
