One who came to meet you

I am currently writing my thesis about how people perceive relationships between men interactive narratives (and media) with basis in theories about fanfiction and BL! Because how could I not be curious about this subject considering my interest in that part of our internet culture today!

I left this blog bc of uni and while I am still extremely busy I’m thinking if I should get back on here and post some KM again once I find the time owo 

I see that many people still follow me despite my long absence, thank you ;;;

It’s impossible to judge a relationship on one action alone. I do believe that this year has been difficult for BTS and they have encountered many hurdles, KM as well, but I don’t agree with the notion that people are suddenly labeling Jikook as dead? We have gotten many things related to KM all year and surely not everything is a dance on roses, but I don’t see any reason why people are so discouraged right now. Just a short while ago everyone was joking that Jikookers always get fed, and now the ship is buried? What’s going on here? 

I’m sure Jikook are fine and I hope VMin’s recent interactions are a result of them working out whatever issues they had in the first half of the year, because they did feel genuine. It’s curious that VMin lives again though just as more and more people have openly started to wonder about their relationship. 

BTS have no need to promote on music shows. Tear and Fake Love were a success on korean charts and it was promoted excessively as well, but that isn’t the reason they did so well. GP doesn’t watch music shows; FL achieved PAK with GP support. Music shows had minimal impact on this success. 

Music shows are mostly there for fans and for companies. If BTS are going to promote for whatever reason I hope they do one performance and then call it a day, they work so hard and it’s worrying to see them add an even bigger workload for no profit whatsoever, except that fans get a video to watch. It’s not worth it, in my opinion. Their health and well being is always my first priority and this just gives me a bad feeling.

I guess we can also say goodbye to the theory that BTS aren’t promoting because their tracks are too controversial. A shame, but in the end unsurprising.
