i’ve been wanting to draw that kiss since i first read it. Heres an excerpt to the moment, so you know how beautiful this fic his:

He doesn’t know who starts it. If it’s an accident—gravity and momentum, spinning Bakugou in his slow, tiny circles, a pendulum that brings him swinging back to Shouto, the way the universe has done to them ever since they first met—or an intentional movement. If it’s Bakugou or if it’s Shouto.

All he knows is Bakugou’s lips are on his, and Shouto’s hands are on his face—not pulling him closer, just… holding him. Shouto just wants to hold him. Wants to feel the movement of his jaw beneath his fingers, wants to feel his warmth bleeding right through to Shouto’s own hands.

Bakugou’s lips are soft, and the kiss is more gentle than last time. It’s a thought tinged in hysteria. Last time. How can this have happened more than once? How has Shouto been so --

Cursed, to have this three times without any explanation?

Lucky, to have had this at all?

He can hear Bakugou’s heart pounding. It feels like it would have been loud enough anyway, but Jirou’s quirk amplifies it by a thousand. All he can hear is Bakugou’s heart, and Bakugou’s hitched breath, and Bakugou, Bakugou, Bakugou.

“You’re so…” Bakugou mumbles against his mouth, lips brushing against Shouto’s—do they count as more? Shouto can’t decide, can’t tell if he wants them to—and Shouto hums, a questioning sound.

It makes Bakugou’s eyes widen.
