“Have you? I have a weakness for beautiful women.” 

“Understandable weakness to have,” she chuckled.

Freya lifted her shoulders in a small shrug. “That’s great your with your sister and like, I’m not asking you to look out for me. If I couldn’t take care of myself I would be running from here like Scooby-Doo being chased by a monster.”

“If you need any help, I’m a mistress,” Rowan let out, “That pet life can be tough, so I’ve heard. At least you’re here by choice.”

“Not that much yet. I had a cold for a week or so.” 

“You should try looking. I’ve had quite a few pets that like girls.”

“Have you tried looking around?”

“You know, this place would suck a whole lot fucking less if those guards would get off my back. God, I only tried to get out like four times, it’s like they are against fun.”

“No, they’re just against people getting out.”

“so it’s a scheduled kind of thing?”

“Yeah, kind of,” she nodded, “Think high school lunches.”

“Just family stuff, Ro.” She tried to dismiss her friend’s worries, not wanting to talk about it.

“This is a bit of a strange place to come to hide out, I’m allowed to worry,” she pointed out, “I already have Riley in here, I don’t need to be looking out for anyone else.”

“I’m a pet,” she answered easily. “Got into a little trouble so I’m hiding out here.”

“What trouble?” Rowan asked, growing a bit worried now.

“Rowan!” She exclaimed, happy to see a familiar face.

“Yeah, hi,” she let out, confused, “What are you doing here?”

“I’ve never felt more relaxed. This place is the best.”

“...Freya?” Rowan asked, growing confused.

“You get food in the dorms,” she nodded, “It’s not good food but it’s food.”

“No thanks,” she said right back, “If you give them attitude like that, they’ll make your life hell.”

Rowan watched the scene. “Telling him that isn’t gonna do anything,” she pointed out, “He’s just doing his job, sadly.”

“Three people have walked into me with their noses buried in their phones, is there some piece of news I’m missing here?” He asked as he watched one person run by him doing the same thing and then disappearing.

“The new Pokemon game is out.”
