She makes me feel drunk at the sight of her… Just like she did years ago. I am wiser now, but, it doesn’t stop me from wanting to dive into those waters once more.

She wore the spell, casting it as she moved.

I can’t sleep again. I keep hearing the words “I regret the day I ever met you,” being yelled at me. I wish it hadn’t taken months to feel the same.

The opposite of love is not hate but indifference. Love and hate just happen to fall on opposite sides of the passion spectrum. I believe that as much as you can love someone, you have the equal capacity to hate them; as time moves on, if we are lucky, we come to indifference.

A dozen gigabytes of our time together removed from my computer in the blink of an eye. My own hard drive much less easy to empty.

I painted for the first time since October. I feel like a giant vise has been removed from my heart. It feels amazing to finally be free. Freedom feels… Like I’m going to be ok.

It’s taken me a lifetime to realize that being alone is not the same as being lonely.

I am made of magic and stardust, I deserve someone made of the same stuff.

Tonight, the moon, she is mine. Pale, luminous, and haunting. She hangs gravid in the sky promising change and rebirth. I am ready for your lessons Mother.
