i love my rose quartz

Ahem, hi guys. I know I've been gone for like a month or more (I've been stuck at home and roleplaying all this time). Anyway, I'll actually draw something from the Steven Universe, but for now here's the RP doodles :3

Literally everyone around was saying, "Rose was so wonderful, we loved her so much, BUT she left us" or something like that. Rose left enough pitfalls for Steven, and this also served as a reason for his dislike for Rose.

And after Steven found out how she treated her gems (and besides Jasper, most likely quite a lot of quartz suffered, + all the diamonds), this served as another drop of hatred.

And Steven (like many viewers of the series) probably missed how much of a contribution Rose made. She "made" many of the main characters, since without her, it is unlikely that some random quartz would have thought of a revolution any time soon, since before Rose appeared, most gems were happy with everything.

Of course, Rose started the war, but without her contribution, Earth would most likely have been simply destroyed and the gems would have colonized many more planets ad infinitum. In general, Rose contributed no less good to this world than bad. But unfortunately, she did not do without mistakes, which are the reason for this hatred towards her even though she only wanted to make things better :(

I have this idea in my head that if Steven and Connie had a child, Steven would never let the Gems and his child cross paths. It sounds stupid, because they are practically his parents, but I think Steven would be afraid that the situation with him could happen to his son. Like his son could lose a normal childhood, exchanging it for fighting and traveling the universe. And also, I'm sure Steven and Connie would want to give all their love to their one (or more than one) child, becoming quite overprotective parents. And the Gems could be a little irresponsible towards Steven and Connie's child, since they are used to Steven being bulletproof, lol. And Mars himself could be similar in character to old Pink Diamond... Like he is cute and kind, but not against creating a couple of colonies. :p
