Felicity stepped out of the way of a dagger flying toward her that someone threw near her. “What the hell is your problem?! Don’t you know not to throw these when there’s someone near the target in the arena? Especially if you don’t know how to fuckin’ throw them.”

Rosie swings another dagger around her finger. “I know how to throw them! Maybe you were just my target, huh?”

“Let’s punch each other in the face until someone says: ‘stop punching me in the face’, okay? I’ll let you even get the first hit, promise.”

"Oh, fuck yeah. Any part of your face I should steer clear of?”

“Re-unclaimed? Shit, probably.” Grey leans against the doorframe, dropping her bags at her feet. Grey tried for as long as she could to avoid returning to camp, but was falling rapidly behind on the rent that her previous dance job had so comfortably paid for. Out of a job, out of a home, and out of couches to crash on, Grey returned to the one place she hoped would take her back. “I just need medical tape. Do y’all still have that pile of crap?”

“Medical tape? I got some of that shit in my room, ven conmigo.” She starts down the hallway, dropping the soccer ball as she walks and just leaving it there. “Seriously though, long time no see. Have you been at camp this whole time?”

“What if it’s all three?” Blue asks her phone, hastily typing a tweet to prolong having to look at her friend. So far so good, it seems, but Blue is still anticipating being asked to leave. Finally, she lifts her gaze. “What the fuck’s up, girlie?”

“Then I’d be offended you’re not just here to see me.” It’s almost a relief when Blue doesn’t look at her immediately, giving Rosie the time to shake off some of her misgivings. She hadn’t talked to Blue since the incident at the lake, but there doesn’t seem to be any appropriate reaction right now other than acting like nothing was different. Especially if nothing had to be different. “Just kicked some ass at soccer.”

Crooke climbed down from the loft and made his way to the main part of the cabin when he heard someone making noise as they had entered. He saw her before she saw him and just as he was about to greet her, Rosie spoke. He grinned back before responding. “Hey, long time no see,” He played around, going on with her joke. After all, it was true that he hadn’t been exactly in the cabin lately. He’d spent some time with Macey and when that was too much to bare, he moved onto Victoria’s cabin. “Yeah, Hermes finally came to a decision and unclaimed me,” He teased and then took another step closer to her, eyeing the granola bar. “I’m always up to shenanigans. Are you looking for some trouble too?” Cyrus questioned.

“About time,” she replies, taking a step back when he steps forward and grinning widely at him. In the time since their disagreement had happened, she’d figured there were enough other campers to be angry with that she didn’t have to hold a grudge against one of the only people who was always entertaining. “I am!” She drops the soccer ball. “It’s so boring here without all the unclaimed kids to fuck with.”

Chase perks up at the mention of chips and nods, following Rosie up the stairs, again much too slowly.

She crosses to a cupboard and kneels down to pull a few bags from the very bottom shelf. “Dude, you want eyedrops too? You look fucked up.”

Chase turns his head to look at Rosie so slowly that he’s almost forgotten what she asked when he goes to answer. “Hanging out with your brother,” he doesn’t specify which one, or why he isn’t with them anymore, and instead just stares at the granola bar in Rosie’s hand.

She snorts, immediately understanding. Brushing past him in the hallway, she heads towards the stairs up to the loft. “C’mon then, I’ll grab some chips or something for you.”

“Yeah, well it’s not exactly easy being the daughter of the god who tried to destroy everyone at this camp!” Victoria replied. “I don’t know how to control it, I’m not my fucking brothers, it’s scary shit, like what if I kill someone or something by accident? Do you not feel regret? Or like fear of people hating you?”

“Maybe people wouldn’t see you as that if you, oh, I don’t know, had your own personality?” As soon as Victoria fights back, Rosie feels both more at ease and more irritated. “You know what happens when you fixate on shit like regret? Nothing, so what’s the point? I don’t give a fuck if people hate me, I love it! The only kind of person no one hates is someone so fucking passive that they’re as boring as the pity party you throw yourself every time Cyrus so much as laughs at one of my jokes!”

“Besides ignoring my existence and dragging your brother away half the time, it’s not you I have a problem with.”

“You can’t list problems you have with me and then claim they don’t exist! Want to solve both those issues? Stop being so fucking dull and have fun with us! Like, what, that truth spell? Fucking genius! And you regret it, don’t you?”

“You say that as if I’m going to take back what I said.”

“I don’t want you to take it back. I want you to own up to it instead of running off. Go on, I’m right here, say what your problem with me is to my face instead of to my brother.”

“I’m sure you’ll have fun burning those with him.”

“He might take some convincing, but I do, what was it? Bring out the worst in him?

Victoria is sitting by the campfire, staring at the ash from previous fire, when she saw someone staring at her. “Take a picture, it’ll last longer.”

“No thanks. I’m sure my brother has enough to share.”
