Ok so I've been working on a little project since I'm currently obsessing over Soul Eater again. I have always liked Ohkubo's fashion and seeing all the official art where they're all in more casual and stylish clothes is always so cool. I really wish he would come out with a fashion art book or something of the like. I know there are two SE art books but one where he focuses on the outfits in his earlier style would give me so much life.
Anyways, I started looking for all the official work and recreating some of my favorite designs he's made. All minus one obviously. I really tried to make the Death Scythe patch look more like his style but I don't think I nailed it. I still really like how it looks though! I know SE isn't really popular anymore but it would be so cool if they came out with some "Death" merch. Lord Death put his face on literally everything and he's so real for that.
I do want to make a few embroidered patches and maybe som pins with these designs, as well as work on a few more original ones. I'm thinking letterman jacket type designs for DWMA. So something to look forward too I guess. Let me know if there's a specific one you guys want to see that I may have missed!

Summary:
Stein has known since he was young that the ocean holds untold secrets, creatures that hide in the depths. He had an experience with one such creature when he was a kid, but no one's ever really believed him. But who needs belief when you can spend your whole life chasing down proof? Stein may get more than he bargained for when he goes overboard his research vessel, and is saved by the beautiful red siren heās been tracking. Unable to bring him back to his ship due to the raging storm, Spirit drags him deep into the ocean where an underwater city resides. Trapped in an unfamiliarāalthough wondrousāplace, on the good graces of a creature he was hunting as proof heās not insane, Stein has to deal with all kinds of culture and customs heās unfamiliar with. And did someone just call him Spiritās pet?

When Soul firsts starts going on missions without Maka after they graduate, he worries a lot about leaving her alone. Not because she canāt take care of herself in an emergency but when she get busy or is laser focused on a task she will forget to eat or drink any water. Heāll make sure to regularly send her messages to remind her to take a break or ask someone to check in on her if he hasnāt heard from her all day.
I also like to think that even though they still are partners, since Soul is now a death scythe he has to go with Kid to a lot of meetings. Soul and Maka will still go on missions together on occasion but Maka started teaching at DWMA. Sheās a very strict teacher and most students kinda dread her class. But they also think sheās super cool and are hoping they can butter her up to get her to ease off the tests and have her train them personally.
When Soul shows up to her class there is no point ion trying to calm the kid as down. So they take the class outside so Soul and Maka can show them some flashy moves. One time the kids convinced Ms. Albarn to fly them around campus.
Sorry to everyone who did not Vite for number 3. A few of u said that 3 was good but make it longer, so I did! I also played around with Soulās face a bit. I made 1 and 2 a bit longer but I think he looks a little too much like Wes so I may just keep the more square face. I liked the idea of him having a mullet, he kinda rocks it ngl. But Iāll ask yāall again, which do you guys like best?

To add on, maybe thereās a point where he gets so frustrated with his hair that he impulsively shaves it all off and comes home from a mission with a buzz cut. Maka is devastated.
