“Seriously!? You are literally, like, the LAST person I want to hear that bullshit from! ”

“And there you go again, running your mouth off,”

“GAH! This situation is bad enough as it is without your verbal abuse! Just stay the hell out of this, you damned brat!!”

“I thought as much. You know, you could at least introduce yourself before you start spouting off with the insults.” 

“I could have,” she commented, staring at him blankly before letting out a sigh.

“Oh like you’ve never gotten turned around.” It was a complete assumption, of course. But in his mind there was no one who had never gotten at least a little lost. Alas, this probably only applied to mortal beings; and unbeknownst to him, he wasn’t dealing with one such being.

“Simpleton?! Snobby rich piece of…” Okay… there were few things he hated quite as much as elitist rich folk. But she was basically a little girl. He had to reign in his anger… so with a deep breath, he answered her. “Saito Shiryuu. Not looking to respass… but seriously. this place is way too big to be in a Hierarchical City. Fact I’m breathing alright means there’s not much Seithr… what’s up with this place?”

“I have not,” she answered bluntly, arching a brow as she stared at him. “And you would do well to keep your anger in check. I’m the only one who can point you in the right direction,” she paused. “I suppose Valkenhayn could as well, but he won’t. He’s my trusted servant,” and with that she turned, facing towards the mansion, her back to him.

“Hmm? Sorry, didn’t catch that. You say something?”

“Yes, I did,”

Unfortunately for Saito, she wound up appearing just out of his line of sight. Her voice, and the sudden nature of her arrival, caused him to quickly turn to look at her and ‘jump’ just slightly in surprise. “Guh?!” But, he had settled fairly quickly. As settled as he could become, anyway… he was still standing ready, as though a fight might break out.

“Kh… it’s rude to sneak up on someone as well, you know.” But, his attention would soon turn to his surroundings. To the field of roses he stood at the center of, and then out to the gothic, almost cartoonishly ‘Halloween’ castle that lay in the near distance. Just what kind of person lived here? Best to ask the person themselves. “… So, gonna be honest. I’m not even sure what wrong turn I took to wind up here. Who are you? And… where is ‘here’ anyway?” 

“Oh, you don’t even know that? How clueless are you?” she let out a soft sigh and shook her head, regarding him in silence for just a few moments. Honestly, the guests she got were unbelievable...the price she paid for having such a noticeable mansion, she supposed. It did seem to draw many curious people.

“Sus palabras me hieren…” Stop being so dramatic, Chen. “De acuerdo, Señorita Dracula.” It’s Alucard, Chen. Get her name right. “Pero quiero decirle que tomo un baño todos los dias! Te juro que estoy mas que limpia!”

“...” she was dealing with an idiot. An utter idiot. Still, the other WAS just a child, so...Rachel was going to try not to be too harsh.

“Vamos señorita, yo puedo bailar y muy bien! Sera divertido!”

“It doesn’t matter how well you DANCE. It matters that you’re filthy, and that you’re a total stranger,”

“Baila conmigo.”

That was...unusual. Demi-humans were not spotted often, the only one she could recall that was of any significance was Makoto Nanaya. So, what was yet another one doing on her property? Granted, she had no way of knowing if the other was an actual demi-human, but the tail and the ears pointed to that. If not demi-human, what else would she be?

Before she could go too far, however, Rachel appeared near the front door of the mansion, barring any attempt to get inside.

It wasn’t every day that a relative unknown entered her abode. She had, of course, heard rumors about him. He was yet another criminal, similar to Ragna, but far less interesting to her. Ragna was more important, yet clearly he was here for a reason.

That, or he just decided to stumble onto the mansion grounds. Heaving a sigh, the vampire stood and seemed to disappear, moving quickly to appear in the garden, where he currently was.
