Pope Cody who loves watching you do a nighttime skincare routine because he admires the meticulous attention to detail.
He watches intently as you go through each step - exfoliating, washing, moisturising, eye cream and brushing your hair. What he hates is when he sees an unfamiliar product which has entered the routine. He finds himself asking what the new addition is, desperate to understand what it does.
Pope Cody who never initiates intimacy because it makes him feel guilty for wanting something he doesn’t believe he deserves.
Instead he waits for you to initiate everything, leading him to quickly get carried away (messy kisses, hands immediately everywhere and panting and grunting before you’ve even started) when you do because he’s been hoping you would for hours.
Pope Cody who expresses that he cares for you by acts of service but he does it obsessively like if a single thing is out of place at your apartment that will make you think he doesn’t love you anymore.
So much so that on days when he isn’t planning jobs or actually on them that he spends all day fixing, cleaning (things he judges you to have cleaned not to his standard) and building in your apartment. You actually have to beg him to stop to be able to spend any proper time with him.
Pope Cody who upsets himself daily with thoughts that you’d leave him for someone else, especially obsessing over the idea that you actually prefer Craig, Baz, Deran or J.
He gets himself so overwhelmed with the idea that when he gets to your doorstep tears are already in his eyes. As you pull him in through the door asking what’s wrong he simply gets on his knees hugging your lower legs. You hear him whispering ‘promise you’ll never leave’, ‘promise you love me’, ‘do you love me?’. And you do promise ‘Andrew of course I love you and I’ll never leave you!’ while raking a hand through his curls.
