Weirdcore/Dreamcore Glisten?!

So lemme sum up what I've played of TCOAAL so far.

Childhood dream, can of tomatoes, quarantine, abusive staff, neighbour plays music, wooden board, cross to the neighbour's balcony, satanic ritual, in which the cultist sucks at, the siblings watch TV, more quarantine lore, childhood dream two, parental abandonment, random nurse, end of act 1.

Switzerland

The tragic night under the big top didn't end with a moment of silent mourning or a brooding vow in the dark. There was no Bruce Wayne sitting in the front row, no sympathetic billionaire adopting the traumatized boy.

When the high wire snapped, John and Mary Grayson plummeted into the sawdust, and the net didn't hold. Dick Grayson survived. He was twelve years old, dangling by a safety harness while his entire world—his parents, his troupe, his identity—smashed into the ground below.

The circus didn't fold immediately, but Dick did. He grew up inside the rotting remains of the traveling show like a weed pushing through concrete. Bitter, defensive, and aggressively caustic, older Dick became the absolute worst person to be around. He mocked the roustabouts, tripped the fire-eaters, and sneered at anyone who tried to place a gentle hand on his shoulder.

His parents were his Kaufmo and his Ribbit—the pillars of his sanity, his connection to a world that made sense. When they died, the simulation broke, and Dick decided that if the universe was going to be a cruel joke, he would be the one holding the microphone.
