Week 2’s prompt came with both a fic and an illustration from me! Took me forever to finish, lol.

If We Dare to Dream

Caption : Walt, who rarely breaks anything, has just shattered a glass. Sensing the awkwardness that has lingered in him these past few days, Barbara finally decides to speak.

A story of two people from different worlds, facing the difficult question of “children” and reaffirming their love and their future together.

Written to portray a warm, mature relationship built on the sincere wish for each other’s happiness.

Set during the time when Jim and the others are away on their journey to find the Heartstone, this is a little moment in the lives of those waiting for their return. (Only Stricklake appears in this one again!!)

Fury Galluzzi did a bit of all sorts during the Trollhunters and 3Below era of ToA and one of those things was potential designs for the bounty hunters. Always been particularly fond of this guy as can't go wrong with manta themes. The file name is marked Bounty Hunter concept version 1 page 8 so there was clearly a bunch of these guys even though concept art for two were seen!

'Herr Mannelig reversed'

Obviously, I chose Fae for this week - and even more obviously, I currently don't have a lot of time on my hands, so colouring and shading will have to wait for another time...

Herr Mannelig is an old Swedish song about a female mountain troll courting a young man, hoping he'll marry her (which would grant her a soul, which trolls are lacking). To convince him, she promises him marvelous things: twelve elven horses, twelve mills with silber-adorned millstones, a gilded sword... you get the idea.

In this case, it's Walter actually offering Daylight to Barbara (so no emty promises here) and I let you decide, if she accepts.
