I was tagged by @justgrace13 to share the first sentence of my latest 10 fanfics. I have exactly 10 active fanfics at the moment, so this works out perfectly, although the oldest 2 are from my old ff.net account

1: Facing the Noise

Code Lyoko, Willam/Jeremie. This is a sequel to a previous Willjer fic I wrote. Not quite finished yet, I think there will be one more chapter.

2. Friendly Support: A Fading Blue Fanfic

"Herve sat in the spectator box at the stadium while the Blues practiced on the field."

Code Lyoko, Herve/Nicolas. This is a fanfic of the fanfic Fading Blue

3. Logic Meets Chaos

4. The Things We Build

Code Lyoko, Herve/Nicolas. I'm really proud of this one, it's about Nicolas watching Herve build the robot for the competition in the episode The Robots. I love them together so much!

5. Chaos at the Arcade

"It was a Friday evening, just after dinner, and Odd left the cafeteria with Aelita."

Code Lyoko, Odd/Aelita. Another one that I'm really proud of, it's just a fun fanfic about Odd taking Aelita to an arcade for the first time.

6. Ulrich Goes to Al-Anon

"It was a Tuesday evening, and Ulrich sat in his car in an unfamiliar parking lot."

Code Lyoko. This was written for World Mental Health Day. Having personally spent many years in the rooms of 12-step recovery programs, I wrote this in the hopes of inspiring others to seek help if they need it. If you're dealing with an alcoholic relative or friend (or are struggling with alcoholism or any other addiction yourself), don't be afraid to get help. The first meeting is always the scariest, but you can do it

Kingdom Hearts and FF7: Advent Children crossover, Riku/Kadaj. Ok, so these last 2 are from my old ff.net account from 20 years ago. I'm not saying they're good, just that they exist. This one is pretty melodramatic, please don't judge me based on what I wrote as a teenager. Gore warning for chapter 2.

10. An Unlikely Relationship

Ok, so those are my 10 fanfics! And now this exercise showed me that my first sentences are kind of weak sometimes, so that's something I can be more mindful of moving forward!

Sequel to Sharing the Quiet. Jeremie and William are settling into their relationship, but William is still having flashbacks from being possessed by XANA. He's hidden it from Jeremie but is starting to crack. Jeremie will do his best to comfort him while also facing guilt for not being able to save him sooner.
