There are things that you've learned while dating the vice-captain of Dionysia. One of them is the fact that you wouldn't lift a finger when you're around him.

“Ugh, these grocery bags are so heavy…” you groaned to yourself, feeling your fingers slowly become numb whilst carrying the groceries. You've decided to finally do a little restock in your dorm after Mio made you your very own fridge.

You didn't want to burden him by taking him to groceries with you since you know that he already carries a lot of responsibilities in Darkwick.

You sighed and looked around, hoping to see anything to help you with carrying the bags, “If only I could get some help…”

I’m not a very arty person, so I hope it’s OK if I pop this in the #Owlsome tag! 

So, because I (clearly) don’t have a social life. I got thinking about this song & began picking apart the lyrics a bit. It’s funny because my interpretation of it is very different from what you’d automatically think. It’s a very clever song. A lot of people reckon it’s about a loved-up couple who want to spend more time together (some couples even use it for “their” song). At first, I thought it was about a long distance relationship- but  I reckon it goes a lot deeper. I reckon it’s about loneliness and a lack of love.

Adam Young is a genius. I’m not just saying that. He has an amazing use of themes, metaphors and imagery. This song is so interesting and deep. I applaud you Mr. Young. You’ve created a real work of art - your way with words is magical!

I’m sorry it’s so long, I tend to ramble. And some of the ideas are probably a bit thin/stretched out.

Please stop to read if you’ve got the time, I’d like to see what you guys think!
