Rosie always liked to find a fun way to stay active, finding going to the gym and lifting weights entirely too boring. Yoga, pilates, dancing. Those were all more up her alley, fun ways to stay in shape. She's far too focused on herself and making sure her form is looking good to notice that Dominic is in the very same class, just as she's too focused looking ahead that she doesn't notice her extra pair of socks fall from her duffel bag, stopped by the sound of a familiar voice. "Thank you, Dominic," she says, greeting him with a smile as she turns around. "You're a sweetheart, even now," Rosie adds, teasing him since she felt like they didn't see each other too often. "How have you been, superstar? In the studio? Or wherever the car stuff is at? Just hopefully not in shady bars every night," she asks in a singing tone to lighten the mood.

"Caffeine isn't that bad as long as you're not over-doing it." Even though she was fully aware that she might be drinking a little too much coffee. "I'll come back to you if I figure out the names. But they were cute, so that's good." She didn't bother acknowledging their names when she first heard them, let alone after waking up with a massive headache. "Honestly just knowing there isn't someone stalking us like prey anymore made the night one of the best so far." Which was why she allowed herself to get so drunk to begin with. She thanked the waiter after they placed the drinks in front of them and pulled one of the glasses toward her. "And I didn't wake up with Catherine announcing something horrible, so even though my head hurts, it's still a good day."

"It's addicting, though, don't you think? I finish one cup, and I'm ready to have another." There was nothing quite like a piping cup of coffee to get her through an hour, and it would surely be something on Rosie's mind as the weather cooled. "Of course, they were cute. I'm sure even drunk, you have great taste," she teased her friend with a grin. "I guess it is a win. Having a hangover be your problem of the morning does sound like a dream all things considered. I just hope we never have to go through anything like that again, two times was already enough." Her mind flickered to the one responsible, wondering what could have led her to make those choices.

"Oh, well... we're taking things slow." That was Rosie's version of saying 'I have no idea what is going on.' Truthfully, a part of her always knew their relationship was very much in Santiago's hands, and that she was always just the one along for the ride. It pained her a little whenever he left, but Rosie figured the happy few months they'd have in between were worth the hurt. After some point, she started deluding herself into saying that it was all totally normal. "Your grandmother was awesome. It's a real gift to know how to find this kind of stuff, and if she found plenty, then I'd say that's pretty amazing," she remarks with a grin. "Oh, the weather guy, right? He is cute. Do you think you'll go on a date with him or something?" She was definitely rooting for her and Drew, but Rosie also wanted her friend to be happy. She had faith that the two of them would find their way back to each other some day, because they were so totally meant to be.

Eden doesn't want to be skeptical of Rosie - she doesn't have any idea of the inner workings of her friend's relationship with Santiago, and she's only been around for the past two years; but she knows Rosie tends to wear her heart on her sleeve, and doesn't want her to end up hurt because of what feels like a back-and-forth. Still - Eden doesn't have much room to speak when it comes to successful relationships. "Well - slow is good. Slow is better than nothing," She offers with a wide smile, very unhelpful - but maybe inspiring just enough. "She spent half of her life going to estate sales and auctions - and those storage space bid wars. Perks of marrying rich, I guess - she never had to worry about her money until the very end." Eden barely remembers her grandfather; he died when she was too young to really process it, but he loved her grandmother and satisfied her every whim, whatever she pleased. "Elijah? Oh - I don't know," Even as she speaks - the corners of her mouth twitch and betray her, "I think I'd entertain it - he's a good kisser and he's pretty to look at. I don't really need much else at the moment." That's pretty much all Eden knows about Elijah - but it's enough for her to want to see him again, see if there's anything else going for him. "I don't think I want anything serious at the moment, though - I'm not really ready, you know what I mean?"

Rosie had always believed in true love, even if it was far and few, and even if she'd always managed to get her heart broken in the midst of it. It was common for her partners to leave her, to grow tired of her, or find her love language overbearing. But none of them had ever come back besides Santiago. Time and time again, she found herself falling every time he had a short break during his busy career, falling for the few moments they shared where it felt like there was a grand future ahead of them someday. She'd like to think that the same would happen to Drew and Eden, that just as she'd left, she'd find her way back to him too. "It's just so easy with him, you know? We've always understood each other so well, and it always just feels like nothing has ever changed between us." She smiled at the thought, how at peace she felt when it was the two of them, before turning her head at Eden's words, finding her grandmother's style of living so fascinating. "It sounds like it'd be fun though. You never know what you could find, something she found back then could be worth 10 times the price now." Rosie preferred to see what was in front of her when she bought something, but she could see the appeal in spending money on a whim, bidding wars merely a form of low-risk gambling. "Nothing serious, huh? Are you sure it isn't because of any certain someone you think?"

Jaziel chuckled at her words, finding it a bit odd that she didn't seem to consider herself young. "You make it sound like you're in your fifties and yet you don't look a day over thirty." he replied paying her a small complement. Tattooing was his life though, so he found a sense of beauty and individuality in it that other people didn't. It wasn't for everyone, and for something so permanent he found it a good thing that she was questioning it. "The needles aren't too bad. It's a bit more mental than anything else. The discomfort of knowing there's something just poking at your skin and not being able to swat it off."

She lets out a laugh, shaking her head. Of course, she knows she's not so old, but she's definitely not young anymore, a sad reality she's come to accept. "I know I look very youthful, Jaziel, but in less than a year I'll be closer to 40 than I am to 30!" Rosie exclaims, quickly softening her features because she so did not want to get Botox for the frown lines. "I don't like anything poking at me, even if I could prevent it. It makes my skin feel all weird. I guess that's why I've always been hesitant. That, and I kind of feel like it wouldn't suit me," she adds with a sigh. Rosie usually went through the phase of wanting a tattoo, only to overthink it and eventually decide against it.

"Good morning," Santi said with a smile, his voice gruff from having just woken up, his fingers lazily trailing their way down her arm and shoulder. Being with Rosie was always a good time, not only because there was familiarity and comfort there, but also because she was just this bright light that he always found himself falling back into every time he was around her, and last night was no different. "I'll help you, but I also don't want us to leave this bed yet," Santi teasingly said, his free hand tilting her chin up so he could press a soft kiss against her lips. A satisfied sigh moved past his lips as he just looked at her, his smile starting to widen as he found himself unable to stop thinking how beautiful she looked, how they spent last night together, and how at peace he felt to just be here with her right now. How right it was. He should be at the gym by now, getting started on his daily workout, but Rosie's presence had always been one that had been difficult to leave behind. "How'd you sleep?" Santi gently asked when he pulled away from the kiss.

Rosie practically swooned at the sound of his morning voice, smile growing and a faint blush forming over her cheeks. At this point, maybe she should've known better. But there were plenty of reasons and excuses things had never fully worked out between them, and Rosie clung to them in hopes that if things changed, the outcome would be different. She loved Santiago, had loved him for years and it felt so natural to fall back into old patterns with him because he made her feel so safe and warm. "We have time, don't we?" she asks, figuring it still had to be early in the morning. All of her appointments were later in the day anyway, and even if she liked to be up and active early if Santi wanted to stay in bed, she'd say yes in a heartbeat. As he looked at her, she quickly grew shy, attempting to smooth out her untamed hair and make herself look presentable. "Don't look at me yet, I might have to excuse myself to the bathroom," she lets out with a laugh, before kissing him back. Whenever they're together, in any capacity, he always makes her feel so good, and right now, after all the tragedy this town has been through, all of this feels so right. "Amazing," Rosie answers honestly, because how could she not after the night they had. "I forgot how much fun we used to have."

"Do you think they have cake in here?" Bash did his best to glance up behind the register. He was tall enough that it didn't look too weird, but he didn't see anything regardless. "Isn't there like a cake shop somewhere on this strip? I could go grab you a piece if you'd like?" If she really wanted some ice cream, he'd go grab it while she waited inside the ice cream shop. Specially if it meant their shopping spree might be pushed a bit further. "Carry the bags, and be a good critique." he grinned, knowing well that he wouldn't get away with just holding bags. "I wrote a list of complements from White Chicks." he joked.

"I don't think so. If they did… I bet it would be like an ice cream cake or something, which is great but doesn't really go with what I'm going for." Ice cream on ice cream kind of defeated the purpose of wanting cake anyway. "Maybe the Daily Dose has some?" she mused, though for now, she was content with the scoop in a cone she had. "I'll probably go home and bake one though, have myself a round two tonight," Rosie added with a grin. "Oh, Bash, I have amazing taste! Though, I will happily accept any of your compliments," she retorts with a grin.

"It makes sense, but I can't imagine starting my day without coffee. Or any form of caffeine." She didn't even think it did much on a regular day, but it was part of her routine. "Sign me up for those Bloody Mary's though." She added, her lips curved up in a smile. "Uh - made out with someon- actually I think it was two different people, but that's about as wild as my night went." Her shoulders went up in a shrug, she couldn't even put names to their faces. "What did you get up to?"

"I've been trying to be better, have tea instead of coffee, but I don't know how long I'll last on it," she admits, nodding her head and ordering two Bloody Marys for the both of them, eyes flickering back to her friend with raised eyebrows. "Oh, care to spill who? If you even remember, that is," Rosie joked, a grin forming over her features that despite Analu's harsh morning, she did have some fun last night. "I just had a few drinks, and…" Kissed Santiago. But she knows they aren't really on good terms, so Rosie forgoes adding that part. "Hung out with some people. My night wasn't anything crazy, really."

"Yeah, that .. don't remind me about it either. I can put up with Winter during December because of, you know, Christmas and stuff, but my tolerance can only deal with one month. And that's because of the holidays," Mia replies, a light chuckle admitting from her before propping herself up onto her elbows—eyes shifting to the water in front of them. "Let's not even talk about the cold right now. We're sitting at the beach and I'm already missing it." Shaking her head at the mere thought of this warm weather coming to an end in a couple weeks. "If you help me unpack, I will love you forever. And ever. I don't know how you find it relaxing, though. I look at all those boxes and want to bang my head against the wall," and she knows how dramatic her words are, so she laughs again...even if there's some truth hidden within them. "There's never a shortage of people who need marriage advice, huh?" Mia teases, but the mention of the killers has her smile faltering a bit—unable to think about what it must've been like for Rosa. Shifting her eyes from the water to the other once again, she says, "That's good. I'm happy to hear it, honestly. I'm sure it must've been scary... dealing with all of that."

"January is never fun, it's like… Happy New Year, here's a snowstorm to start it off! The only plus side is that winter outfits are always so cute, maybe because I really like parkas." Rosie definitely preferred summer though, maybe because the winters where they lived were often far too cold. She'd thought about moving to Florida once because it seemed like it was summer year-round there. "You're right, let's enjoy the sun," she adds with a nod, letting out a soft sigh at the warmth. "Of course, I'll help you, Mia. We'll pick out a day and just get it all done in one shot, that way you won't have to bang your head and look at the boxes every day." She liked helping people, and besides, Rosie was betting it would feel nice for Mia to finally be settled into town. "Of course, there isn't. The great thing about love is that it isn't exclusive to the poor or rich. Everyone has problems with it eventually." Of course, Rosie knew all about love problems, and she felt like anyone who could reach the point of marriage surely wouldn't give up so easily. It was good to have a positive outlook when it came to her line of work. As the mention of what was only the reality a few weeks prior, Rosie sighs because she still can't believe it got so bad. "I guess I try to live in the present, you know? So many bad things happened, but if I sit and let myself think about it for too long when there's nothing that can be changed, it's a slippery slope." One that she was sure some were going through, thinking about what they could've done, what they didn't see, how they wished they could turn back time.

"That's also a very good option. Lower back tattoo's used to be very popular back in the day among women." he agreed, pulling out a binder from a shelf behind him with tattoo ideas. "It can be tracked all the way back to the ancient Eqgyption women. I have a good collection of that I've done. See if anything sparks interest." Jaziel never did the same tattoo twice. Those he usually left for the other artists who were still getting the hang of their art. "There's a couple of butterflies there, a lot of flowers, texts, but I can make you one more unique to you."

Rosie nods, and although Jaziel is doing a very good job at trying to spin the iconic tramp stamp tattoo as something worthwhile, she's still not convinced, lingering on the fence about what she wants. "Well... don't put too much thought into it. I don't know if I can commit to actually getting it done. I feel like I'd maybe have gotten something when I was in my 20s and still super carefree and young." She was still carefree, and somewhat young. "But now, I feel like I'm too old for it, you know? Plus, needles freak me out a little."
