Life is unfair. You put someone first who puts you second. You study your ass off for a final only to get a B in the class when you deserved an A. You give 110% to someone in a relationship when they only give 40%. You’re there for your best friend at 3 a.m. when they need it the most, and the next day they don’t pick up their phone. …You give something your all and sometimes get little to nothing back. You care so much about someone who doesn’t care enough about you to say hi once in a while. You give someone your time, and they give you “Sorry, I’m busy”. It seems like you’re giving everyone everything, and they’re just walking away with it.

Stop thinking you need people – get it out of your head. Just live your life, beautifully. Make yourself happy because you’re never promised that you’ll find someone who can do that for you. & even if you do find that person – you could loose them. Stop depending on anyone else in your life to determine your happiness and start looking in the mirror at the most important one. Just be patient, & in time you’ll come across someone that feels right – & without even knowing it you will have picked someone who compliments you, rather than trying to find someone who completes you

Too many people get caught up in what could be instead of appreciating what is. Don’t fall into that trap. Appreciate what you have & who you have, cause the future can take it all away from you.

I kinda miss the bond we shared. I mean, who wouldn’t miss that comfortable feeling with a person? Where we could talk for hours about everything, anything, and not have a problem with the silence in the middle. Can’t forget all the ridiculous stuff we did. Stupid or not, everything was just so fun. Endless nights, real talks, the “remember whens”, I remember it all. And it’s funny what life does, how it could just give you things and take it away so soon. I really can’t get it out of my head that you grow distant from people and that good things come to an end sooner or later. But along the way, I learned one good thing about life; it goes on, you just gotta pick yourself up and learn to keep up.
