I found a way in Clo to easily play with different colors in the colorway selection:

For my digital catalogue I think it was the best to create also a physical one. Here I can put in the real previews of the fabrics I scanned in and also my data on how to create the piece itself. Every piece of crochet fabric got an own name. In this way I can easily find my fabric back in my digital catalogue.

I finished my first top and I think the end result looks so much like the Clo top. I am actually really surprised this worked so well. I definitely think I took crocheting to a next level by digitalising it.

Because my idea is to create a brand for selling crocheting patterns, I thought it would be nice to create my own logo. I wanted it to be very clean and classical to keep it modern, this is why I stuck to black and white. This is the end result:

Because the fabrics I created are open I had the problem my fabrics weren’t finished at the edge. I tried to fix this to scan in a small chain piece of crocheting and stitch this to the edge of my fabric. But this wasn’t looking nice because it looked like I still had a gap between my fabrics:

After this I had to find a new way. I had the idea to fix this by making my own stopstitch with the same chain piece as texture and stitch this to the edge of my fabrics. This worked really well. 

In the properties I had to puzzle a bit to get the perfect look I wanted. I decided I still needed a bit of offset, because otherwise the chain piece would fall a bit off. In the end I think it looked very well and makes my pieces way more finished. These are the properties I used in the end:

Because some of my scans from the Vizoo didn’t get out so sharp, I took the Alpha pictures back to Photoshop to define more definition in my fabric. See here the difference:

I also found a way to make the fabrics more thick. You can’t find this in the Property Editor of the fabric, but at the pattern piece. 

In the Property Editor for the Fabric itself, I found that you can make more definition for the fabric if you change some things for the Displacement and Normal map. These are the specs I used:
