i grew up with just my mama. my dad moved back out of the country shortly after i was born, i had no siblings, and my mama's side of the family was hours away. it was always just me and her.

i always followed her around and clung to her as a little kid, but once we moved to whitechapel, things just got. rocky, i guess. she was barely home, and when she was, she was busy doing her own things. we also had a kind of. weird relationship, but i'm not going to get into that.

i never really talk about it, but. i think that sarah understood me better than anyone else. she understood the weird instincts and urges that come with turning into some kind of animal, and she didn't judge me for it. i think i strived a lot for erica's approval in the hopes that some way, somehow, she would get me. she never did, honestly, but at least sarah did.
