I spotted these tiles in Liberty’s on Saturday while up in London. Created by Rory Dobner, the combination of block letter/number and elaborate illustrations is very inspirational for my FMP, in which I will be exploring Victorian imagery and type. Dobner’s tiles for the number 5 and letter W in particular show heavy clock/watch illustrations that relate to my horology-based project.
