we’re all born naked n the rest is drag😫

drawing myself again. a couple different concepts have popped into my head as i’ve been working so far, i want to take this from a simple self portrait to a commentary on loneliness or my interpretation of the “all born naked and the rest is drag” mantra. idk, may incorporate both but the struggle im having is how.

also cxh’s discography has been the soundtrack of this work so far, big balien over here ofc

some sketchbook practice drawing icon Willi Ninja. the actual project will be much bigger n i plan to use solvent for the first time aswell (a bit excited for that😋)

trying to come up w/ a pun-like title that connects Aja to her work but her being depicted as a head-planet is throwing me off-

The mood board consisted of renaissance mosaics and religious pained glass windows. And 5 star chic ofc

the mosaic tile effect actually makes me hurl like🤢🤢it looks too ai-ee but i was definitely avoiding the piece by piece aspect of the mosaic🤧😫i feel like a little shading around the indents might help a bit

Midterm Blog Post 14.2:

after looking at the last post it rlly didn’t give mounds of fabric stuffed in subjects face so much so that it caused her cheeks to protrude outwardly and fall through the folds and creases of her lips. so i went back and gave it a bit more of that🤓

also have definitely been utilizing photoshop and illustrator, illustrator ruins the colors tho after adding effects but you gotta finesse it😫
