okay so player would obviously have the fool arcana, wildcard and alla dat. fool social link would probably be the whole party. fear would use dark and support, solitude would be ice and have high defense, greed would use electricity and probably be the fastest, and hatred would use physical.

shedletsky would be the jester/hunger social link (probably a story based link). one, bc he's a sus ahh mfer and i refuse to believe there isn't anything nefarious with him. also if the smt wiki is to be believed, the hunger arcana represents being consumed by power and abusing power, which i'd say fits the deal with the swords (he's the one who sent us after those things sooo...)

terry could be the magician link. could possibly be a party member. maybe. as a treat. could be a kenji situation where he's simply just the first link. him being the first social link feels on brand for some reason. if he was a party member he'd probably use a lot of gun skills. bc rocket launcher.

red and blue could be the strength link (honestly debatable, could change... idk what to do about them honestly...). if they were to join the party, noobabdor would also join bc there's no way he's going to let his kids just run off towards perilous situations without him. noobador would be the hierophant link (should be self explanatory). feel like either red + blue or noobador would specialize in physical attacks, dunno which one would. i suppose if this were to be like persona 3, then red + blue would primarily use slash skills and noobador would use strike skills.

cruel king would be the emperor link (i can't NOT do that lol). obviously would use ice skills, because again, can't NOT give him that. we'll say he doesn't die in this au bc i'm a basic bitch. although realistically if he survives, he probably wouldn't be a full time member, bro's got a whole kingdom to rule over and all...

griefer would probably be the chariot link. probably would use nuke and some support. honestly not much i can say about what i'd do with him until the upcoming retcons drop... ._.'

... okay i've run out of ideas for party members but calypso would probably be a member ig (lowkey tempted to say that she copies haru okumura's homework for the funnis...)

in this au ghostwalker would probably be the first sword. we'll just say that shedletsky wanted to get the whole "purifying" thing over with as soon as possible so that player doesn't get any bright ideas about going rouge. though he probably wasn't expecting player to turn this into persona 4

captain trotter lives in this au. player has all the embodiments on their side, so i think it's plausible for them to have greed use their stretchy aah arms snatch him before he gets dunked into lava. ancients fight probably still happens, let's just say they got upset that the "sacrifice" was interrupted.
