Pallas’s cat kittens and their gentlest mommy, Snezhana ❤️

This spring, wonderful Snezhana the Pallas's cat became a mother for the first time, welcoming three sweet little floofs. And despite her injured paw, she is doing an amazing job in her new role!

Summer, carefree kittenhood, joyful games with siblings, tiny but incredibly important discoveries, and the gentlest, most caring mom in the world always by your side — this is what the happiest time of manul life looks like! 💕

Two manul kittens — zero peace and quiet! 😈

This spring, Lolo the Pallas’s cat gave birth to two cubs, and they have become real fluffy troublemakers!

Games, chases, somersaults, and all kinds of mischief — these floofs seem ready to play, tumble, and conquer new heights all day long!

Mom Lolo does her best to keep up with her little troublemakers and happily joins in their games. But when the kittens get a bit too wild, she has her own very special way of reminding them who’s in charge in this family 😁

This year, beautiful Snezhana the Pallas's cat became a mom for the first time!

For a long while, she wouldn’t let her kittens go outside when people were around ☺️ But last week, the little cubs finally appeared!

Now they come out every day and explore the world around their den with more and more confidence.

⚡️ Manul kittens have been born to Lolo at Novosibirsk Zoo!

Yesterday evening, they shyly but curiously peeked out of their house for the very first time! Lolo guided them and looked around, and at us, very attentively and very seriously 😁

How many kittens are there? We saw two, let’s see if anyone else shows up 🥰

This grumpy yet endlessly charming solitary cat remains a mystery to scientists. But despite its secretive and unsociable nature, the manul has managed to unite thousands of people around the world and give them the chance to feel like part of something great, bright, and deeply meaningful—and that is truly something special. Mia turns 10 today! 🎉

Happy anniversary to our beloved, one-of-a-kind fluffy Siberian lady of sorrow! And of course, we wish a happy birthday to her fluffy brothers: the wonderful Klyon from Ueno Zoo, the noble Altay from Izhevsk Zoo, and the mysterious Dima from Grasleben! Hooray! 🥳

Today, March 31, is the birthday of Altana’s and Fellini’s daughters from Parco Faunistico La Torbiera — they’ve turned one year old! 🥳

All four beauties Ariunaa, Tsas, Tuya, and Saran have already grown up and moved to their new homes to their fluffy grooms (how fast manuls grow!).

We can’t wait to see them again and, of course, have a photoshoot 😁

Traditionally, the mating season for manuls at the Novosibirsk Zoo begins in February and continues through April.

This year, the handsome George, the eldest son of Zelenogorsk, is once again courting the beautiful Mia — a well-known and beloved fluffy lady of sorrow with an alluring look… oh, what a character she has! 😈

It’s not easy for George to find the key to Mia’s heart this year, and even harder to ask her out. He might even end up stuck in a tree again! 😅🙈

Manuls prefer dry steppes and rugged mountains — they are definitely not fans of water. Seeing a manul like this, right by the water, is an exceptionally rare moment and pure luck! That’s why I love this photo so much.

That day, heavy rain passed through Borgo Ticino, and for a short while a picturesque puddle appeared in Fellini’s enclosure — and I was lucky enough to capture the moment! Looking at him, you can let your imagination wander: a wise, fluffy son of the steppes sits by the shore of one of those hidden mountain lakes, quietly contemplating. And somehow, you just know he understands this world far better than we ever will.
