What is it about? A demonspawn we know from before has captured some humans and keeps them trapped. He urges them to fight among themselves. Your character (with a customizable name) can start a romance with one of two captives who may or may not be bad guys… And more.

Why check it out now? The full story is complete! No more waiting for updates! *The game will still be in early access until we get some voice acting and fix any potential issues.

Today I disguised myself as a player and tried to imagine I was playing the Cursed Trial for the first time.

Strong woman Aeryn. I can see why after this introduction, some players were expecting Aeryn to be stronger. But the plot has to plot, at least until the ending gets closer 😶

Somehow, I found the choices here lacking. The first option was supposed to be the non-rude one. He didn't deserve any better, considering he just tried to punch Ran for no reason, but...

I still added a "yes, daddy" type of answer. For no reason, other than I know the rat man has his fans. 🥲 Why would we say this? IDK, but we can.

The whole game was supposed to be based on this. Seven "companions" + a traitor. Of course, it's just a song, and it's not about them. But it's a nice way to get them paranoid. 😇

The trapped companions can now live through their fifth day together. Or at least those of them who manage to survive. Well, the love interests are still alive, so let's go! 🥲😈

I'm thrilled to announce that the text for Demonheart: The Cursed Trial, Chapter 5 is not only finished but also fully scripted into the game (at least for me!)

I'm excited to be one step closer to sharing it with all of you.

While the text is pretty much done, as usual, there's still some polishing work ahead. The next steps involve thorough testing and tweaking. I'll also be adding the final touches like music, sound effects, and any missing choices. :')
