A smile crept up on his face with a brief head turn, as he kept focused on her longingly. It was always a game with her, one that he loved playing. He liked to make himself think that he didn’t, but he knew better than that. “You can’t expect me to fully trust, can you? I’ve still got the scratch marks on my back from the last time that happened.” His brow went up as the noise got louder. It sounded like quite a lot of trouble this time. He took another look at her, finding himself biting his lip before briefly sighing. “C’mon, then.” He held his hand out to her. “I might know a place we can hide for the night.”

‘  Believe me --- being on your team sounds like a nightmare -   ’  DISQUIET PRESSURE HAD FLOODED GATEWAYS / throat tight and swelling with irritation / wilting pride. A dulled stare will dart to and fo the masked heroine --- Astraea resemblance - tis moratorium of war will only be temporary. 

CHESHIRE - your shell of a smile has long since faded --- hauteur features soften, for a moment that mask of aggression will fall & innate feelings ; the maelstrom of FEAR will sweep the surface in a scowl.  & a pang of guilt / pathos rumbles innards your chest.  IT’S TRUE --- PRIDE WILL bleed her dry for this, but for Artemis --- she would very much travel through the slums of hell for her ;  weakness / love, it doesn’t matter right now.
