Summary: reader and roger are roommates who have an “arrangement.” when neither of them can find a good hookup on halloween, they naturally turn to each other.

“What are you going as?” Roger calls from the kitchen, drawing your attention behind you. “Sexy nurse, sexy cat… know you’ve got both in that closet.”
You groan he laughs in response, settling beside you with a plate of reheated leftovers in his hands. He could use the table, but he loves torturing you with the threat of spending the evening scrubbing stains from the upholstery.
He pops a potato wedge into his mouth and raises a brow, nudging you with his elbow until you answer. “I’m going as a sexy overworked, tired, and completely too busy to get dressed up roommate to an annoying drummer who really needs to eat at the kitchen table.”
He mutters something around the mouthful of potatoes that sounds vaguely like, you’re no fun. You shrug and shove him lightly and stretch out across the couch, letting your legs fall across his lap as you grab the journal you were mindlessly sketching in. “Draw me,” Roger says with a grin, batting his lashes at you.
A smile quirks your lips as you wrinkle your nose and shake your head. “Aw, Rog, you wanna pose nude for me?” He laughs as you waggle your eyebrows suggestively and poke at him with your foot. “Oooh, or maybe I’ll just draw you in costume. What are you going as, Taylor?”
Even though he does reply, it’s muffled around a mouthful of food as he chews. You live with an actual pig. Finally, he clears his throat and gives a smug smile. “You can find out at our halloween party.”
