Me, a year later, after much thought: Coloring my hair would be a special thing that’s just for me, but that doesn’t mean I need it to be invisible to others. I’m not trying to hide it and I’m not sure that’s even possible with hair dye. I just like the idea of this detail about me, if it’s going to be noticed, it’s by someone who took the time to look closely.
