This fic is written beautifully and the way the grief is described here is so touching.

Pre-canon where teen Sam is sick but he is trying to hide it because the family is going through rough times. Obviously it comes to bite him in the ass.

I really liked the love that Sam has for his family. I do have to warn you that there is a pining Wincest, however, it is in the latter part of the fic, so even if Wincest it's not your thing, I would still recommend reading the first part that deals with the sickness.

Pre-canon, John leaves the boys alone in a house to fend for themselves, but Sam is sick and getting sicker by the day.

This is a little fic from John's POV where Sam is really good at basketball.

This fic is written beautifully, but it was also kind of sad. It really reminded me of the story in the song Big League by Tom Cochrane (highly recommend this song).

It's the episode of 'Mystery Spot' but Sam is schizophrenic and Dean thinks it's one of his episodes.

The author is Schizophrenic, so Sam was written in a dignant way.

Dean and Cas are at a supernatural creatures auction in the purpose to buy Lucifer's true vessel. Dean is pressed to pay for it with the money he and John kept for Sam, his younger brother who is missing. Dean can't help but be surprised by this guy.

This story is really interested and easy to read. I also really liked the relationship between Dean and Sam in here.

Sam finds out Dean is illiterate and is determined on fixing it.

This is a really cute fic and it shows in a more honest way what lack of consistansy of education and lack of parental responsibility could bring.

Au where Dean accidentally dropped baby Sam during the fire. 14 years later he befriends a crippled student named Sam in his new school.

-Sam I Am, by Lennelle (orphan_account), 79,191 words

Au where all of Azezal's special kids where taken from their families as teenagers. Sam was 15 years old, John and Dean rescued him at the age of 17. Unfortunately, Sam is not the same boy they remember and the road to recovery is ahead.

-The truth in the lie, by anywayethewindblows, 3,389 words

Jack can't help himself from reffering to Sam as his father in his mind and in front of others. He tries to keep it away from Sam.

This is really cute fic and I liked the progression of him claming Sam as his father.

During season 5 suddenly everyone around Dean starts to sing to the freaking Glee soundtrack.

This is a crack fic in all of its glory, I highly recommend to listed to the podfic version in order to hear the singing as well.

Dark fic where Sam reminds John of Mary, but when he believes that Mary posseses Sam's body every once in a while he start to abuse Sam.

Chapter 1 is about the abuse, chapter 2 is about the aftermath and the recovery after others find out and intervene.

Teenager female Sam asks for Dean's help to get an abortion. The story goes back and forth from present and past sections.

One of Sam's teachers take an unhealthy likeness to Sam. He decides to kidnap Sam so he could be with him. Dean and the others try to find him.

The relationship between Sam and Dean is established.

-The Autistic Series, by darkangel89, 111,719 words [contains 3 parts]

Coming of age story of autistic Sam and his family. The first part is from John's pov and the second is from Sam's. I highly recommend.

-I hold my breath (I pray thee not hear), by Mirathehera, 118,116 words

The story explores what would've happened if Sams' powers popped up earlier, as a teenager.

I would define this story more as a gen fic. But there is wincest there, but it's not the focus of the story. I really liked how his age and the fact that he never left for college effected the way he was percieved by others.

-Games We Don't Want To Play, by Obsidian Romance, 97,164 words

Sam left everything he knows to go to college, including Dean. However, he is in a pickle when he finds out that Dean knocked him up before he left.

I really liked Sam here and the friendship he had with Jessica here.

-Facta non Verba, by dimeliora, 14,321 words

Sam wakes up without the ability to speak when he was six. He still finds a way to communicate with Dean.

It was interesting to see how Sam's muteness made them even more isolated and codepandent.

-Interspecies Breeding, by Rosecarr67, 17,515 words

Werewolves au where Dean was put for adoption after he was born human to werewolves parents. Sam was born a werewolf and as the heir of their pack.

While working on a case Dean hooks up with this cute Stanford student named Sam. At one point he bites down on Sam, and for some reason Sam freaks out and say they are claimed.

-I'll Always Find You, by Kauri510, 45,415 words

Sam was kidnapped by Vampires when he was two years old, a year before the first werewolf shift of age three. Dean never stopped looking for him.

Jared padalecki is a human living in a vampire family. One day people killed his family and he is told to search the Ackles' pack.

This is a really interesting concept and world building. Also, the combination of Supernatural and RPF was done really well.

-Love of a reaper, by CrankyWhenProvoked, 1,771 words

Dean is a reaper who keeps meeting a suicidel Sam. I really liked the uniqueness of the story.

-Let Me In, by Junebug1312, 9,398 words

After getting on Sam's case about his lack of sex, Dean finds out Sam is a demisexual. This leads to change in the brother's relationship.

I really liked their communication throughout the fic during their exploration. I highly recommend.

-Between the Lines, by teand, 5,666 words

Sam and Dean are getting their anti-possession tattoos.

I really liked the atmosphere here, the ocs added to the lore of their world and it felt like it could easily be the canon.

-How the Rumors Start, by castielscaplan, 3,706 words

Stanford era fic where Sam's class is discussing the dark themes of "Flowers in the Attic" and it hit too close for home.

I loved this fic and so well written. The way that each of the brothers is written is so accurate to their characters and it is such a good story.

Even if you don't tend to read wincest stories I really recommend this story. The incest is just implied , and it can be read as platonic with unhealthy boundaries.

Stanford fic where Sam's power comes early. I really liked the relationship of Sam with Jessica and her family in this one.

Jessica thinks about getting a tottoo, she goes to Winchester Ink. She befriends the owners.

I really liked the flow of the story, how all 3 of them got closer, her reaction to the incest and the history of their buisness and tattoos. The sexual tension was hot.

Castiel/Dean Winchester

Dean is a tattoo artist and he is instantly interested in Gabriel's cousin, however he is sure that said cousin is into Sam.

I really liked the dynamic of all four of them.

Au where Sam is working as the castodian at the same high school Dean work as a gym teacher. Sam is selectively mute and has a hard time to speak to anyone besides his brother, for a certain history teacher he'd like to make an effort.

You have Dean and Lisa on the side. This story is really cute and I really liked the relationship between Cas and Sam and the relationship and support between Sam and Dean.

Good Ruby and Sam is on a hunt together. Ruby is trying to sleep with Sam when she finds out he is asexual. They try to find the middle ground.

As the headline suggest, the fic is fic on intimacy and comunnication. I had a blast reading this fic.

There is this spell in Enochian that needs to be said. Sam volunteer to say it instead of Cas. Cas in shocked by Sam's language skills.

I loved all of the flashbacks between Sam and Lucifer. You could really feel the conflicted feeling of Sam about Lucifer and the cage. I felt really bad for Sam here.

Jess tries to punch Dean Forester, only to find out this clone is not in fact Dean.

This fic is pretty amazing. It's a stanford fic where Sam and Jess start dating. I loved how it works and mainly stick with each show timeline and canon. It is from Jess's pov but I highly recommend.

A pre-canon case fic where John take a poltergeist case in Hartford. Meanwhile Sam start to get close to an angry teenager at the library (Paris).

I really liked the progression of the fic, I also loved Paris reaction to the similarities between Sam and Rory's Dean.

The boys start working on a case after running into a girl who calls Sam by the name of Dean.

It was a really fun fic and I liked their outside view of the brothers' relationship.

John rushes six years old Sammy to the ER on Holloween after he spikes a high fever within an hour. Dr. House is the treating doctor.

This is also a Burning Zone crossover, but it doesn't effect the reading experience.

I'm amazed how accurate she wrote Earl's voice and I would've liked a more detailed fic of it.

Hi, I just want to ask if someone read or can recommend me a supernatural au fic where John broken the first seal of the apocalypse instead of Dean and its aftermath?

I am sure that someone written said fic but I don't know what tags to search for it.

This fic rec is going to be a bit different then usual. I finally read an academic paper on Wincest's fan fiction, which was published all the way in 2008. The paper was real interesting on his themes but also on his perspective. It was published in 2008 and refferenced to the first three seasons. Meaning, we are talking on pre-Castiel Supernatural, when the main proper ship is Wincest.

This article also mentioned and talked about verious fics. We are talking on pre-ao3 era so I decided to find them. In the process I was able to find addition fics and Fic Recs from Live Journal. Unlike my other fic recs, this one includes some fics that I hadn't read myself (I tried to read most of them). The fic rec is for archiving sake.

Dean gets hit with a spell that causes him to lose his inhibitions concerning physical affection. It turns out he can't keep his hands off Sam.

This fic is the definition of "crack treated seriously", it made me laugh hard a few moment throughout reading.

While working on a missing student case Sam and Dean gets trapped in a vanishing house. There is only one viable option to get out.

They ended their battle, so of course the first thing Sam does is to kiss Dean.

A retirement fic of Sam and Dean in Key West. Pretty much a love letter to the island as it is to Sam and Dean.

Sam was almost killed as they ended the demon. Once he wakes up Dean doesn't want to lose Sam anymore. They try living like normal people for a while.

I really liked how Dean slowly getting used to live like a regular person. Also, the gradul evolution of their relationship was so well written.

Steve and Robin were drinking in a bar in Indianapolis to drown out Robin's surrows after striking out spectacularly at the gay bar they drove specifically for. Robin was in the middle of a self-pitying speech of how she would never find someone and she would die alone and a virgin. During said speech Steve stroked her back and tried to convinced her otherwise. Suddenly, Steve spotted Tammy Tompson sitting alone at the bar. For a moment he couldn't belive what he was seeing but then a wicked idea came to him. He stopped Robin's speech and asked her if she trusted him. Without missing a beat she said yes, and he told her to wait patiently right there.

Steve got up towards the bar and went to talk to Tammy. Steve lead her to sit back with them at the table. Robin was kind of speechless at finding Tammy there yet Tammy wasn't paying much attention to her anyway, too busy focusing on Steve. After steve asked her some polite questions about her aspiring singing career in Nashville, he answered some of her questions about his buissness that inevitably included Robin, like most of the time. However, not like most times, that time Steve kept leaning heavily on their frienship. Robin still didn't get what he was trying to achieve, especially with him trying to imply that the both of them are romantically involved. But, she didn't stop him, she trusted him and wanted to know his plan.

Tammy obviously swallows Steve insinuation and believed that they were together. Robin could see Tammy visible dissapointed, making her contemplate on her feelings from that year. Tammy let Steve keep talking, pretending like she didn't expect anything to come out of the chanced reunion.

They kept the pleasant conversation until Steve started speeding up his plan. Steve starts a vulnerable conversation, well at least to those who don't know him as well as Robin does, talking about how he was always aware of how Tammy looked his way during Mrs. Click's class. How he hadn't said anything because he felt like he wasn't good enough for her. He knew how she had great aspirations, knowing she would move to Nashville to sing. Him on the other hand never knew what he wanted to do and planned on working for his dad. He talked about how one of his regrets in life was never getting the courage to say something to her. Robin was impressed by his speech, he was convincing but also a bit of a dick for stealing some of her direct words about Tammy. Tammy unsurprisingly ate every word out of his mouth. She looked seconds away from kiss him, paying no attention for believed said girlfriend seeting right there beside him at the table.

Steve wasn't done, persisting on saying how despite what happened in high school he was happy with the place each of them was right now, him with Robin and the Tammy out there chasing her dreams. However, he didn't give Tammy a chance to talk, steam rolling on how the chanced meeting had to be a sign and he had to asked her something important, full of hope for her acceptance. Steve stopped then for dramatic affect, he had both of their fully attention and he knew it, fully enjoying the power he held. When he continued he took both of them by surprise, talking about one of his all time fantasy, which apparently his totally awesome girlfriend agreed to indulge in. What was said fantasy? It was having a one time night with an extra girl in bed. Then Steve looked solely at Tammy snd asked her if she would honored them and take him up on the offer.

After a few silenced moments it seemed like Tammy wasn't out right rejecting the offer, but she hadn't agreed either. Robin wanted to see the rest of Steve's plan comes to life, so she didn't stop him. Steve wasn't to bothered by their reactions. He just calmly and openly started to play out said "fantasy", carefull not to be overheard by other tables.

He talks about how they would get to their hotel room for the night and he would kiss Robin and then kiss Tammy, letting his hands wander down her body. Let his mouth kiss her neck as his hands start to take off her clothes. Then when she would be with just her bra and panties on he would take a sit at a chair and see his beautiful girlfriend and his high school crush kissing and getting hansy with each other. Slowly taking each other clothes, while he stay fully clothed with a quickly full hard on that he would not touch just yet. Then, if they both would agree, he would like to give instructions to Robin on how to eat Tammy out with the hope to bring Tammy to orgasem as he would touch himself. Afterwards, Robin would start to finger Tammy out, prepping her for him. When she would be fully ready, he would get up from the chair and join the action. Ideally, if Robin would be up for it, he would like for Robin to play with Tammy's upper body while he thrust deep into her or Tammy trying to make his girl come as well.

When Steve stopped describing in great detail his plan, Robin couldn't desy being turned onand wet. But she was also full of warmth for her best friend. He was going through all this troubles just for her. No matther what would happened she would be honored and so happy to lose her virginity with her first crush while Steve was with her every step of the way keeping her safe. Robin locked eyes with Steve and she just smiled at him, reassuring him that she was liking his plan. Steve reciprocate with his own bright smile accompanied with love-filled eyes. Absent mindedly, Robin knew that if Tammy doubted their relashionship before, she wouldn't anymore.

At last Robin and Steve tore the eye contact and looked at Tammy. She was fidgeting in her seat while wearing an unreadable look on her face. Eventually, she spoke up and by all chances agreed to Steve proposition. All three of them looked at each other, Steve snd Robin with matching bright smiles and Tammy with a bashfull barely there smile.

I wanted to do this fic rec for the longest time, however I contimplated what to put on it. As someone who does fic recs mainly for canonless fandoms, this one was tough. I decided to gather the more unique stories that may not be one everyones' radar. This is a Steve Harrington focused list, because I mainly read stories revolving him. -I'd Ask You To Be True, by chandy, 276,380 words

Canon divergent post season 3 where Steve get diagnosed with cancer and his journey along with his found family.

The author herself batelled with cancer so the accuracy really shone throughout it all, on the medical side and on the emotional side. Other storries of that kind cannot compare as a result. I am a nursing student and I read this story in its intirety 2 times- one as a fan and one after learning about cancer and oncology nursing because I wanted to learn more about the patient's experience during this difficult time and this story is a great learning opportunity.

Technically it's not a J2 fic but I think it counts. With all of Jared's mental health hardship Jensen pretty much acted like Jared's alpha. So when Jared started to get close to alpha Stephen Amell, Jensen gets a little jealous.

I think this story tied down to all the weirdness of how close their frienship is. They aren't together, they don't see each other romantically, but it feels like they are together and lack real boundaries.

Alternate Universe- Dragons

When Jensen was a little boy, he found an egg and took it into his home. Unbeknown to him, it was actually a dragon egg that burned down his house while hatching and flying away. His family didn't believe him and thought he burned the house himself. Now, 21 years later, the same dragon had returned in a shape of a human and wanting to court him.

This story is cute, and interesting in the world building. I liked their developing relationship.

In the past year or so I got into the Stranger Things' fandom. I thought it would be a fun way to have a never-ending compilation of fandom related content. I am on Tumblr and Youtube, so most of the content here are from said websites. My favourite character is Steve and as a result of it most of the following links will be more about the older kids and less about the little kids.

As for a general edit for this show, this is a perfect edit. This show deals with literal kids trying to save the world, and with each passing season more and more kids get involved, and the seriousness of the situation grows. It isn't fun to talk and the trauma for the show runners, but the fans aren't afraid of it and have the different ways to

show and explore those traumas.

This video cotained only canon compliant segments. Combined with the song "I'm just a kid" who is filled with teenage angst and about how you are alone in the world. The song elevated and validated their experience.

On a more personal note, hearing this song was such a blast and nostalgic to me. And I still knew all the lyrics even though it's been a while.

I've cried to it, and it made me feel so many different emotions. It also made me fall in love with the song (it was part of my most played songs of the year).

Right of the bat I love the song choice, and she really did an excellent job with the editing to fit the words. I love how some lines are really on tune with the scenes- "His wife underwhelming cooking" along with the indignant look of Robin. "Some people really had to fight for survive and some people were white guys in 1985" along with Jonathan and Steve.

However the perfect lines were about how some people were living through the AIDS crisis and some people were Italian. Both of them goes perfectely with "Bisexual Steve Harrington" and "Italian Steve Harrington" respectfully.

Also the end of the song is just perfect. As someone whose father was 19 in 1985 and like Steve he is mostly dresses in polo shirts and the general style of Steve, I felt relatable. Also I thought it was fitting also for Joe Keery himself. In Kevin Pollak Chat Show he spoken about how Steve is reminding him of his dad, who was roughly the same age as Steve in the 80s and also dresses in a preppy style.

With the vibe of this video, it ties with the character who is attractive and is torn apart while needing to choose between Steve and Eddie. Every one has his own aspects they really love. Eventually after tearing themselves apart the boys put mercy on the charachter and tell them how they don't need to choose just one of them, they can have both.

He knocked on the door one, as a warning, before he let himself in. He walks in to the perfect image of Steve, wearing his old gym shorts. This pair is short, and with a the position of Steve's leg, there are some hidden gems being reveiled. When Eddie raises his eyes a bit he balatedely realize that Steve is wearing his Dio vast. Since what happened with Vecna Steve didn't return the vast, and Eddie couldn't complain.
