Well she had to admit, it was….pleasantable if that was even a word. And how Roxie was going on, she could only guess that the girl could have made this a lot worse if she wasn’t lucky. “….fair enough I guess? Hey! Don’t go poking my butt!”

Of course, now she was seriously thinking about it. "Hmm... you don't have the world's most poke-able butt... but it's not the world's flattest butt, either... I'd give you a 5.5 out of 10 in terms of butt poke-ability." Roxie nodded seriously, as if she were thinking about this scientifically. "If you were a 6, maybe it would tempt me, but alas."

"Whoops, too late," she said, grinning. "Nah, I just meant that if you were more of a bore, I wouldn't have made that pleasant. Like, maybe I would have licked your face, or pulled your hair, or poked you in the butt, or something."

"No! If anything I’m completely disgusted!" He rubbed at his mouth again. "Do you have any idea how chil — " He stopped in the middle of that sentence. There was no reason to finish it. He was sure she had a pretty good idea of just how childish it was.

She smirked, glad to have disgusted him so thoroughly. "Sure you're not a masochist? You know, denial isn't just a river in... however that goes."

Thank Arceus she said cheek or otherwise he might have went insane. He let out an annoyed sigh before pinching the bridge of his nose. “Fine. Fine fine fine. Get this stupid tradition over with so I can go on with the rest of my holidays…without you.” He needed to add the heavy emphasis because Arceus forbid this all because he was damn well not being married.

"Bleep bloop." Before Cheren can stop her, Roxie leans in towards his cheek -- and moves at the last minute, instead licking him on the mouth. "Roxie used Lick! It's... super effective! Are you paralyzed, huh? Huh?" Now she'd have to scrub her mouth for ages to get the nerd germs off. But it was worth it.

"CUT IT OUT!" Cheren shouted back already feeling the unwanted attention on him that was definitely not needed. He didn’t need some random rumors flying around. "You’re making it sound like a marriage which is not the case!" He let out a exasperated sigh before face palming. "I’m guessing you’re not going to be like some people and just not follow this stupid tradition." Please Roxie, why couldn’t you find this utterly disgusting like most things?! "So….just…get it over with. A kiss on the cheek should suffice, right?"

"Yes. On the cheek. For sure. A very special kiss. Lean in, nerd lord, and our matrimony can commeeeeeeence."

"Someone please tell me that didn’t just happen."

"...ATTENTION ALL NIMBASA UNIVERSITY NERDS! WE HAVE GATHERED HERE TODAY FOR THE UNHOLY JOINING OF THE WORLD'S COOLEST PERSON AND THE WORLD'S LAMEST PERSON! COME WITNESS A TRUE BLESSING BESTOWED UPON THIS UNWORTHY MAN, FRONT ROW SEATS, NO POPCORN PROVIDED!"

"Ha! You should feel lucky I like you, otherwise that wouldn't have been fun." Oh, she had other plans for Marise's relative. Such other plans.

Totally sick! This is gonna work out. And then we can crush each other's enemies. [Was she talking about the Pokemon types, or just in general? It was hard to tell.] And reign supreme over this school! [Okay, definitely not Pokemon...]

We should get t-shirts or just put a sign on the door or something.

Well... we can still make shirts! With skulls and crossb -- ...I guess I oughta ask what kinda Pokemon you like first, because if we're both NUBabes, it has to be, like, a mix of the two. I guess. [Anything but Psychic. People and their gross Munnas ripping through her Koffings like they were nothing... ugh.]

"Try as you will to put me out of a job, but I’ll still have my gym leader position to drop back on if you ever find some way into the science career." Which he highly doubted. "…how considerate of you…." He let out a sigh. "You can be nice when you actually want to."

Roxie scowled. "Tch... I wouldn't get you fired. If you were gone, I'd have lost my prime target of torture. Can't have that. What's life without a lame nerd to step all over as a pick-me-up?" A pause. "Not literally. Unless you're into that. ...Actually, especially not if you're into that. Doubly gross."

...Oooh. [Her eyes lit up.] NUBABes! NU Babes. It's perfect!

"The day you make a discovery in science, might be the day I actually quit teaching." Probably that, and whole lot of other stuff.

"Maybe I oughta try to do it them, just so that you don't have a job. Hee... I just started imagining you as a hobo. I'd throw some change at you from my stretch limo, though, don't worry."

Well…we both know Cici isn’t fond of loud music or anything so…[She pulled out her mp3 player and hooked it to her docking station. Picking some random song, she decided to just play air guitar with it. Cheren wouldn’t do that. He barely knew the meaning of fun anyways]

...Nah, that's a dumb name... we should come up with a club name. Just for our room.  The Anti-Cheren Alliance Squad... Club... thing... or like... "Nimbasa University's Bossest Bitches Club..." or something. [Now she was just rambling nonsensically.]

Sighing, he placed the pen back on the table. “I’m a blackout drunk so honestly I can’t tell you anything because I have zero memory of it. There’s your research.”

She pretended to jot down some notes. "Day 100 of the Cheren's Lameness Log... Cheren is still lame... we have still not managed to find a cure for the way he is... not even science can prevail. Truly a great worldly tragedy."

Runs in the family….? Hah! No way! Cheren and I are two different people! Sure, we’re related but we’re nothing alike.
