French Martini !

This recipe from The Tipsy Panda is the perfect mix of simple method and fancy result.

Ingredients:

50ml Vodka

25ml Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur

12.5ml Raspberry Syrup

3-4 Fresh Raspberries (+3 to garnish)

50ml Pineapple Juice

Method:

Muddle 3-4 fresh raspberries in a cocktail shaker along with the vodka, Chambord, raspberry syrup, and pineapple Juice. Add ice to the shaker and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Stick a cocktail stick through 3 raspberries and place on the drink to serve.

Strawberry Basil Pink Martini !

Ingredients:

2 oz Beefeater Pink Gin

1 oz London Dry Gin (any brand)

2 tbs Strawberry syrup

1 Large Basil Leaf

1 oz soda

Squeeze of lemon juice

Basil leaf or fresh strawberry for garnish

Strawberry Simple Syrup:

¾ cup water

1 cup sugar

1 pint chopped fresh strawberries

DIirections:

Add all ingredients except soda in a shaker with ice.

Shake for 30 seconds.

Add soda and shake gently once or twice to combine

Strain into martini glass

Squeeze a little lemon juice on top.

Garnish with a fresh strawberry or small basil leaf (or both)

Strawberry Simple Syrup

Combine ingredients and cook for 30 minutes on medium low/simmer. Strain into a jar. Let cool, then keep covered in fridge for up to 1 month.
