Meredith: I'm staying safe and making sure I stay around others. I know being alone isn't a good strategy when trying to stay alive through a crisis in this town.

Meredith: I hadn't connected the two but that makes perfect sense. Can he and his power be contained or does he need to be taken out?

Roch: Good, good.

Meredith: I'm alright, Daddy. Are you safe??

Meredith: I've canceled a bunch of sessions due to old dead patients showing up at the office thinking they are coming in for their regular scheduled appointments that no longer exist. I've given my patients a way to contact me and have been working from home. I helped spread those flyers you made. I'm being careful, Dad.

Meredith: Do we have any idea who is behind the sudden zombie outbreak?

Roch: Of course I am, dear.

Roch: Good, that's...good. Please, stay safe. Stay indoors. Stay with Liam...whenever he gets his ass here.

[several days later]

Dahlia: I am doing what the cool people do

Dahlia: That's not what you said last night

Meredith: Yes, well, tell that to my fiancee.

Meredith: I trust your judgement on cake tasting. And if you want to come with me to the dress shop you totally can. I still haven't chosen one :| We sent out the save the dates but we still need to send out the invitations. I don't know there's just so much.

Roch: Perhaps I will. I need to have more words with that man. No future spouse of my daughter is going to push the wedding work on her.

“Older man,” Melisande said, forgetting that she was taught not to point out how people looked, “you need it more than I do.” She smiled at him warmly. Davenport… She was there, but had gotten home earlier. “What attack?” She asked, confused at the news she was hearing. 

“I can control everything.” Jyn assured Roch, crossing her arms over her chest. “I’m not worried about hurting her, or anyone else, again in the future. My head’s just stuck on the past.” The thought of a more experience witch to train her caused a chuckle before a smirk. “What were you thinking about? Turning me into some big bad witch to eventually join the archaists?” 

Kaia: Speaking of her, did I mention she's contacted me to try to have me join her coven? ...I said no.

Kaia: Good. I hope he dies. And that's not something I say lightly.

Kaia: It's fine--Sorry... I'm just.. Sleep hasn't come to me lately. Cecelia is doing better, from what I know. I mean, I know that she's texting me. But I'm guessing if she's texting me, she's okay.

Roch: She texts me at least once a week about it. I think she's a little sad the coven's numbers have gotten smaller over the years. There's really no need to join a coven at all. Taking a familiar will do just fine.

Roch: Kaia...you don't mean that.

Roch: No, it's not fine. I'm responsible for the safety of the people in this town. I need to remember that. Would you like a potion to help with the sleep? Or perhaps consider seeing our therapist.

Meredith: He basically wants to invite the entire town.

Meredith: Perfect. That would be a huge help, Dad.

Meredith: You just want to go sample them, don't you?

Roch: That sounds unwise. This town is filled with less than friendly folk.

Dahlia: Nonsense! All witches should be in covens. You know that.

Meredith: True.

Meredith: :| Liam isn't helping and I just want to do it at the town hall.

Roch: He wanted a big wedding, right? Odd that he wouldn't help out if its his idea.

Kaia: He took it from her arm with his creepy ass knife. So he didn't really hurt her too bad. I mean, I hope not. It wasn't more than a cut.

Kaia: ...I'm honestly beginning to assume so. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

Kaia: Yeah, I know that too. I really don't know what to do. I feel like I can't help them. And quite frankly, you weren't much of a help either because if we had never gone, maybe this mess wouldn't happening.

Roch: God only knows what that man plans on doing. I've sent a letter to the council but I'm afraid even though I am a member, they don't like me much. We may have to act without them...or speak to Dahlia...

Roch: He's going to die if he keeps it up. Dark magic can only be viable (and even then only scarcely so) if he's taking energy from something else, which if he's lost a sense of reality as I've heard, doesn't seem like he is.

Kaia: I could kill you [unsent]

Kaia: Give me strength [unsent]

Kaia: I’m going to pretend a grown-ass man did not just say that to me [unsent]

Kaia: We went to Cecelia’s. She wasn’t there. Dorian was. With blood on his hands and a damn knife in his pocket. He needed Lyra’s blood to complete his desire of bringing back his family and creating a perfect world for them. Free of annoyances like us. Whatever that means. He showed us Cecelia who was being held at Joanne’s. She was bruised and... he showed us how he could manipulate her and she wouldn’t even know. And then when he took Lyra’s blood he went all movie villain, laughed evilly, and literally disappeared into thin air. The only thing that was left behind looked like... ashes. Or something like it. Is that broken down enough for you?

Roch: I suppose what I meant is I'd like to make sense of any of this. I'm not sure what Dorian is planning, but if what you say about bringing the dead to life is true then... How did he get Lyra's blood? Did he hurt her?

Roch: was that woman a werewolf? I suspect he used mind control on those at the party, and if his power is strong enough it's possible he might have maintained it

Kaia: I don't know what kind of HELL you may or may not have been expecting from going to find Cecelia but.. You had me and Lyra walk into a meeting with Dorian. He took her blood and said that if we didn't cooperate... If /I/ didn't cooperate, he was going to come after the people I loved as well. So. What are we going to do? Because Cecelia is out there with some Joanne Leakey person looking beaten and bruised, Lyra is a wreck, and I'm THIS close to snapping at someone in my bookstore.

Roch: new phone, who dis?

Roch: Sorry. That was a joke.

Meredith: snapple has a chat app now?

Meredith: OH snapchats. right.

Meredith: Thanks, dad. Good luck with that. She's sort of a piece of work.

Roch: That's what I said.

Roch: You're forgetting that you're also a piece of work.
