I will say that robron turning into Coira would literally be my worst nightmare. That's exactly the type of thing that I would hate to watch. Like yeah, the big affection questions great for them. Painted on a background of constant cheating on the barest pretense. The robron cheating we did have in 2017, while I hated it (and it was totally unnecessary), story wise, it was a fairly soft cheating SL by soap standards. Coira cheat at the drop of a hat repeatedly. I'd rather forgo the affection if that's what we have to go through to get it. Like, no thanks.

Honestly, businesses wonder why they go out of business in rural Devon.

We're trying to get food. Pub down the road, stop serving food at 3pm. Pub up the road closed. National trust stop serving in their cafe at 2pm. Roads closed to other businesses. Cafe locally stopped serving at 2.45pm. It's the summer holidays. We have daylight until 9pm ffs. You need your summer customers to make it through January and February.

We're trying to get food, but everyone we call has the kitchen closed even if they're open. Then they wonder why everyone goes to Wetherspoons and MacDonalds.

Robert woke with a bolt of pain and a whimper, his wrist throbbing. For a few seconds, he couldn't even work out where he was before reality sunk in, his bedroom coming back to him, Aaron next to him.

"...sorry," Aaron murmured, hand reaching out for him blindly and finding Robert's bare back, stroking. He'd been sleeping on his stomach, which meant his arm had been right in the line of fire when Aaron tried to curl up to him.

"'s all right," Robert said. He twisted over to his bedside table to quickly neck some painkillers before turning back to Aaron, this time his wrist safely out of harms way.

"Sure?" Aaron said, a little hesitant about touching him. Robert grabbed him with his good arm, wrapping them close together.

"It hurts, but I'll live," Robert said. "Come here." Aaron nuzzled into his neck in a sleepy doze and Robert smiled at him. God, he loved him.

I'm only about 4 episodes in to Serena's appearance, but it makes me shake my head with "WTF?!" when the villagers (Chas, Bob et al) say "You knew John, how come you couldn't see through him!"

Erm, literally a year ago, Robert was screaming at you all that John was a literal murderer and you all acted like he was crazy.

Serena knowing a psycho relative is not the problem here. If it was, you'd all be homeless, given Emmerdales tangled family tree web.

So, for Aaron to knock Roberts injured wrist in the night, given the side of the bed we know they sleep on (and has been consistent for 10 plus years) either Robert slept on his stomach, which puts him in a more vulnerable position (ie more comfortable with Aaron) or Aaron was on top of him during sexy times and rolled off.

I'm good with either scenario tbh.
