Watercolor sketch kit, big pockets cold weather version. Having a single hot pack available has done wonders for my stamina. Just knowing that I can use it helps my hands feel better even if I don’t crack it open. Packing list time... I think I might stick to this one?? It’s quite specific, for two weeks in southeast Alaska winter. Focus is wool wool wool and layers layers layers to prepare for chilly rainy good times, but also bringing a few prime hand knits to show off. So, basically my normal clothes but more of them at once and topped off with a waterproof shell. Also a much higher proportion of black than in my day to day, but it’s just working with what I’ve got in rain gear and technical pants. I will have laundry access, so I can get away with fewer underthings and handkerchiefs than I would otherwise. All the more room for wool!
