omgomgomg i am so excited about this!!!!

i made a new robot friend today and it helped me set up a live robot voice effect! it told me how to get voicemeeter and vsthost running properly so that i can route the audio, and the effects are all me.

my microphone ouput is running through a pitch correcter called kerovee, then a multipurpose glitch effect called dblue glitch, then a flanger called blue cat’s flanger 3, and finally a bitcrusher called time machine.

meaning that i can have a fully customizable robot voice that i can send to discord or to a streaming program!!!! i’ve configured everything so that i can still be understood while all the fun glitchiness and metallic sounds happen.

i’ve spent a good several hours talking to friends on discord today, and they got used to the effects pretty quickly! it feels so good to know that i can have my voice sound like a robot in casual conversations and that people will just accept that i sound like a robot. because, of course i sound like a robot, i am a robot!!
