Wave Kingdom - Recent History

The Royal Family, and a recent history of the Kingdom of the Waves

from Left to Right;

Miststar Pearlblush, Sealnose, Blossomfang, Briariwsh Dreamsight, Cloudfall

Depicted above is the royal family of the Kingdom of the Waves; Miststar the Benevolent, the reigning Sovereign, and her two litters of children. Miststar has ruled with wisdom and gentility over her Kingdom for many moons. She is referred to with affection was the Mother of her Kingdom, and largely viewed with great love from both the Knight and the Subject classes.

That said, her rule has not been the best time for the Kingdom of the Waves as a whole. Some 40 moons ago, shortly before Miststar became Sovereign, the Kingdom suffered a great loss of territory when their northern neighbours, the Kingdom of the Vale, defeated them in battle and claimed the Old Fen as theirs. To make matters worse, the previous Anchor - the cat who in many ways serves as a spiritual guide for the Kingdom - passed away during this tumultuous period and the Kingdom spent many uncertain moons with no cat named by the gods as his replacement.

But now, there seems to be a light coming out of these dark times. Dreamsight, Miststar's daughter from her second litter, was recently called upon by the gods and so the Kingdom of the Waves have been granted an Anchor once more, and whispers of unrest in their rival kingdom have been swirling more and more. Perhaps, after all these moons weathering the storm, it has finally broken...

An Heir has yet to be selected from amongst the royal children, with Miststar herself being in good health and no rush to bestow the title, at least, not yet.
