HOLY ARCHIVE BATMAN! ANOTHER REBOOT IS COMING! i’ve made the offhand comment or two about rebooting in the last few weeks, hemmed and hawed over it as i weighed the pros and cons of archiving again, but i think it’s time. i’ve had tim for two years now, this specific blog for well over a year, and in that time he’s evolved, as has my writing style and how i approach him in general, and because of that, i feel a new blog will be more beneficial in the long run.
with all that said and done, here’s a handy guide on what to expect:
--- ) WHEN WILL THE MOVE HAPPEN? depends on how my schedule looks over the next few weeks, but the goal is mid-late december. if not, early january. hoping for something a little earlier, though.
--- ) WHAT WILL CARRY OVER? relationships, mains & exclusives, starters, and select ask memes.
--- ) WHAT WILL CHANGE? not much, though there are a few updates i’d like to make regarding his character and how i approach interactions. nothing too major, just a few revisions here and there to keep things fresh and consistent. i MAY change his face claim to someone either closer to his age or opt out of one entirely, but i’m not TOO sold on that yet. we’ll see what the end of the year and some contemplation brings. another thing is i’ll no longer be using icons? i love making them, they’re fun and cute, but finding the right one to use is a real thorn in my side so... this does not spark joy. 🚮
--- ) URL? same url, different day. though, i do have a placeholder in effect as i work on his new blog. if you’re interested in following the blog while i set up, you can ask me for it, but otherwise i won’t be posting a “like this post and i’ll follow you from my new blog” until everything’s ready to go.
