Your giant roommate notices you dozing off and decides to expedite the process.
Youâre struggling to stay awake. Despite the sound of the giant typing on his keyboard, your eyes are threatening to close as you try not to slump over. After returning home for the day, heâd taken off his sweater and folded it up on his desk for you to lay in, and itâs far too comfortable to stay awake onâŚ
Youâre woken back up by the feeling of massive fingers slowly and gently wrapping around you, scooping you out of his sweater and bringing you to his chest. You glance around to see that his computer is turned off, and you can hear the crackling of the fireplace thatâs been going since you evidently dozed off.
You blink sleepily up at him as he begins to walk. You feel like itâs too early to be this tired, and you didnât want to distract him from his work, but heâs smiling down at you nonetheless. You can feel his chest vibrating through you as he speaks quietly.
âGo back to sleep, Iâve got you. I was due for a break anyway.â
You still want to protest, but the way he speaks when youâre so tired just makes you melt in his hands. He knows exactly how low he needs to keep his voice to keep you lulled into that deep state of calm youâre in, and the warmth of his hands certainly isnât helping.
He takes you to his rocking chair near the fireplace, and you mumble incoherently as he sits himself down in it. He adjusts his hold on you to cradle you to his chest, and you slump yourself against him as you finally give in, too tired to argue any further. You feel his hands pull away briefly, clinging to his shirt until you feel your blanket being draped over you. You take hold of it and snuggle yourself up beneath it, hearing him chuckle quietly as his hands return to cradle you against him again.
He begins a slow rocking motion as he holds you, his thumb stroking you down the back of your head and over your shoulders. You feel chills down your spine as you fall limp under his touch, still wondering how someone so big can still be so delicate with you.
As if all of this isnât already enough to knock you out, you feel a soft, consistent rumble in his chest as he begins to hum. Itâs a soothing melody, one he knows will help you fall asleep even faster, and as you listen to and feel his humming, it coaxes you further away from consciousness.
Though you still feel a smidge guilty, you canât deny how warm and loved this all makes you feel. Despite how long youâve known him, you still marvel at the fact that this giant being, someone who could so easily overlook and ignore you, frequently goes out of his way to make sure youâre taken care of, as heâs doing now, not caring that youâre so small. Heâs told you it never bothers him, that he enjoys making sure youâre safe and happy with him, and that he always enjoys seeing your tiny self curled up and cozy with him.
He loves that you trust him enough to let your guard down so much around him, that you know he would never do anything to hurt you. As you remind yourself of these words heâs said to you, any feelings of guilt at this point are quickly being replaced with happiness, and you find yourself feeling incredibly grateful instead.
As he holds you close to him, keeping you warm and safe, you nestle in under your blanket once more. He continues to softly hum, the strokes of his thumb over you light and comforting, the rocking motions gentle and soothing, and itâs not long before your eyes stay closed, and you drift off to sleep.
He continues to hum even after youâve fallen asleep, and you can hear the melody in your dreams as background music to whateverâs happening around you. You also feel the warmth and security provided by the way heâs cradling you, and the rocking motions are replicated by constant movement. You donât know where these dreams are taking you, but as long as you know these feelings, itâs easy to remember that even as you dream, heâs still watching over you.

Youâre up a smidge too soon, but you take the opportunity to appreciate what you have.
It hasnât gotten old yet, and at this point, you donât think it ever will.
You wake up, your eyes shrouded in darkness as your sleeping mask still covers them. You donât need to lift it to know where you are, though, nor do you need to see to trust that youâre safe.
You smile as you feel the warm surface beneath you rise and fall slowly, curling inward under your blanket as you snuggle against it. You then register the gentle pressure resting over your entire body, holding you close and keeping you secure on the vast, moving expanse you rest on. It softly presses down over you a little tighter, and you feel yourself being lifted by a deep inhale, hearing and experiencing the vibrations of a satisfied hum beneath you during the exhale. You can feel the thumping of their heart beating directly beneath you, a constant reminder that youâre curled up on a massive living being, one who has every interest in making sure you feel safe, warm, and cuddled to your satisfaction.
You feel the softest touch over your head and shoulder, curling inward tighter as your breath hitches in response. You cling tightly to their shirt as you feel the effects of a soft chuckle beneath you, grateful for the pressure atop you preventing you from being jostled too badly by it. Their touch repeatedly brushes down the side of your face so delicately, and you know they have practiced control over how much pressure theyâre using. Thereâs no fear of them hurting you, even though you are so incredibly small compared to them.
You take in a deep breath, yawning as you nestle in and make yourself more comfortable. They continue their gentle stroking, and you can tell based on their actions that itâs not quite time for you to be awake for the day, otherwise they wouldnât be trying to lull you right back to sleep. Youâre not sure why youâve woken up so early, or why theyâre awake too. Given that you donât need to be awake yet, however, youâre not about to complain about being able to just spend some time laying with the giant as they take such excellent care of you. You never bother to lift the sleeping mask off of your eyes, youâre content to experience and enjoy these sleepy moments through your other senses right now. Thereâs a level of comfort in keeping yourself in the dark, to give this giant your absolute trust as you offer them so much vulnerability, and even more in feeling justified to do so.
They always make sure youâre tucked in close, held so carefully and securely to them, yet not so much that you feel suffocated by them. They ensure that youâre bundled up properly beneath your blanket, that youâre getting enough warmth from above and below, and that youâre happy right where you are. Their love and dedication to you, even though youâre so tiny, puts a smile on your face.
Youâve always felt heartened by the amount of time and energy they put towards your comfort. Despite feeling so little and insignificant at times, theyâre quick to remind you that youâre not insignificant to them, that they have no problem putting in the effort required to keep you feeling safe and cozy under their watch. Your size is part of what appeals to them the most about you, not because youâre insignificant, but because of how significant they feel when theyâre doing right by you. Having the trust and approval of a tiny being that has every right to be terrified of them is deeply impactful, and they make it clear to you that you are such an important part of their life. Itâs times like this, when they can simply hold you and keep you feeling safe and loved, that theyâre at their most content.
They are, however, still the slightest bit playful.
You yelp softly as their fingers gently work their way under you, lifting you off of their chest for a brief moment. You instinctively wrap your arms around their thumb as they bring you toward their face. You can feel their breath on you for a moment before they pull you closer, and you gasp when you feel the soft, warm sensation of a gentle kiss to the top of your head. You immediately melt under their affection, your cheeks flushing red as you hide your face against the pad of their thumb. You hear them chuckle quietly, and as if youâre not flustered enough, they give you another kiss. You know what theyâre doing, you can hear the smile in their soft laugh as they fawn over how shy youâve quickly become, and itâs working. They give you one more kiss before lowering you back down onto their chest.
Youâre a limp puddle as they carefully situate you back to where you were before, right over their heart. You bury your face into your pillow and pull the blanket to hide most of your face as you feel them rest their hand atop you once more. The weight settles comfortably over you, heavy enough to keep you feeling protected and cozy, yet not so restrictive that it prevents movement if you need to adjust your position. The care they take in how they hold you to them is immense, and even though youâre a bit of a blushing mess, you still show your appreciation as you snuggle up under their hand.
Itâs so easy for them to overwhelm you like this, to give you so much affection and attention that you feel your tiny little body canât contain it all. You sometimes feel like you canât begin to think about how to properly return that much affection, but as theyâve told you before, they adore you just the way you are, size and all. They love to see you shy and flustered, to watch you hide under your blanket as you try in vain to process just how wonderfully intense these interactions are. They love being able to affect you so easily with gestures that, to anyone of their size, would seem small in comparison.
Slowly, you feel your heart rate begin to slow again, your breathing evens out, and you feel a lot calmer than you were minutes ago. As the shyness finally dissipates, itâs replaced with renewed exhaustion, and you yawn again as you nestle yourself against them, wriggling around until you find a comfortable position to fall asleep in. They adjust their hand over you to allow you the space you need as you settle in, hovering above you as you tuck your blanket under your chin and make yourself at home. Once youâve stopped moving around so much, their hand lowers to rest over your tiny body once more, their thumb returning to softly brush over the side of your face lovingly. Youâre left in a state of happiness and bliss, soaking in their warmth as you let your drowsy state of mind take over.
You're cold. One of your mini-giant roommates offer you a quick solution.
Youâve recently moved in with two mini-giants, brothers named Drew and Erik, and are now sharing a house built for people of their size, 19 feet tall. The price for rent was low, you knew you wouldnât take up much space, and could help with cleaning, food prep, and anything else your size is advantageous for.Â
So far, itâs been a bit of a rocky integration. The two mean well, but clearly didnât think everything through. Navigation around their house as a result is tricky at best and impossible at worst. Thankfully, they have been patient and quick to offer or provide solutions to the various problems youâve encountered.
One problem didnât have to be addressed until recently, however, that being the temperature.
The seasons are changing. Itâs still warm out on some days, but the fall weather is slowly creeping in, and on some days itâs been mildly uncomfortable. Today, however, youâre completely shivering. You canât reach the thermostat, and a space heater sized for you wouldnât be effective in a mini-giant sized room.
Even worse, Erik is at work, and Drew hasnât woken up yet, so youâre left to fend for yourself for the time being. You grab your blanket as you leave your room, hoping that Drew wakes up soon and you can get his attention.
Theyâve started installing various ramps and platforms to help you get around more easily, but itâs been a work in progress, and the couch hasnât been addressed yet. You wish you had sooner, because as you stare up at the gargantuan piece of furniture, you know youâre in for a bit of a struggle.
With a huff, you ball up your blanket and toss it up onto the cushions, watching it land up top with no issues. As for you, youâre in for a bit of a struggle.
You usually have one of the brothers help you up onto the couch, but Drew is still asleep, and you really donât feel like climbing up the flight of mini-giant stairs to get to him. Youâre on your own.Â
You start by reaching your arms up, trying to gauge how far you need to jump up before you can grab hold and hope. Thankfully, itâs not far, but itâs still going to be a considerable effort. You crouch down, hope for the best, and launch yourself upward. Your hands grab hold of the fabric of the cushions above you, and you begin to try and pull yourself up.
Youâre glad Drew isnât awake right at this moment to witness you kicking and flailing about as you scale up the couch, but you do manage to make it onto the cushion. You flop onto your back, panting with a small, victorious grin on your face. Youâve defeated gravity and scale this time.
Once you cool down a bit from the exercise, you start to shiver again, and you grab your blanket to wrap it around you as you nestle into the corner of the couch. All you can do now is wait and hope Drew wakes up soon. You wonât freeze, but youâre still going to be very uncomfortable until then.
Thankfully, itâs not long before you hear the telltale footsteps climbing down the stairs as Drew approaches. You suddenly find yourself in his shadow, looking up to see him leaning over the back of the couch with his arms crossed over it, staring down at you with a friendly, sleepy smile.
âHey short stuff, glad to see you can climb the couch. Whatcha up to?â he asks casually.
You wrap your blanket tighter around yourself, looking up at him with pleading eyes.
âI-Itâs cold, c-can you turn th-the heater on?â
Drewâs face falls as the realization hits him, flashing you an embarrassed, apologetic grin as he rubs the back of his neck.
âOf course! Iâm sorry, weâre not used to having to worry about that ourselves. Iâll be right back.â
You watch him pull away from the couch and hurry off to turn the heat in their house up. You then hear him run up the stairs, back to his room? You arenât sure, you havenât bothered to check out what all is upstairs yet, since you havenât needed to. You hear him climbing back down moments later, and youâre pretty sure he skipped a few steps on the way.
He finally returns, now stepping in front of the couch and watching you for a moment. You notice heâs now wearing an unzipped sweater, unsure as to why. It might be cold for you, but you know, and heâs just confirmed that heâs got a much higher tolerance for the cold. You donât have time to think about it for long, however, as two massive arms reach down toward you.Â
You let out a surprised cry as he first pulls your blanket off of you, then gathers you up into his arms, flushing deeply at just how easy it was for him to do so. This isnât the first time youâve been picked up, they frequently have to do so to help you get around, but you canât think of a reason as to why Drew is picking you up right now. As a result, you feel anxiety kicking in, glancing around anxiously as he takes a couple of steps with you.
He then sits down on the other side of the couch, bringing you in close to him and tucking you to his chest.
âWhat are you-â
âShh, itâs okay, just hold on a second.â
You jump as you feel his voice rumbling in his chest. This is the first time youâve ever been this close to either of the two mini-giants. Theyâve always just picked you up, placed you down where you need to go, and that was that. This is clearly something else, youâre just not sure what. What you are sure of, however, is how warm Drew is.Â
You hold tight to him, trying to soak up as much warmth as you can before whatever happens next. Itâs soon apparent, however, that you donât have to worry about that. You watch as he reaches down, slides one half of the zipper into the other half, and slowly begins to zip up his sweater around you.
You gasp as his hand passes over you, light disappearing behind it as the sweater seals up over you, pressing you tight against his chest. Thereâs no worry anymore of slipping off of him at all, youâre far too secure for that to happen. You find yourself mostly shrouded in darkness as he finishes zipping up, having been left a small window near the top that you can peek out of if you wish.
Youâre at a bit of a loss as you try to process whatâs happening, definitely shy, but certainly not upset. You look around now that things have settled, thereâs a bit of light shining in, but otherwise itâs total darkness beneath his sweater. You havenât moved very much, your face a deep shade of red as youâre continuously held very closely against Drew.
You can feel his breathing, slow, smooth, and steady, and you curiously press your ear against his chest. Youâd been curious about whether their heartbeats were slower than yours, and youâre quickly proven correct. Itâs a slow, soothing sound that you realize will lull you to sleep very quickly if you keep listening, and you pull your head away.Â
âI hope this is okay, I figured I could keep you warm myself until the heater kicks in.â
It becomes obvious very quickly that itâs working, and you nod your head. Curled up against him like this, with his sweater making sure you stay put, his body heat is seeping into you quickly, and itâs not long before youâre no longer shivering. You adjust your position slightly, curling inward and snuggling in as you take in a deep breath, releasing it slowly. There had been a small, shy part of you thatâd been hoping something like this could happen, and as youâre surrounded by warmth, darkness, and a strong feeling of security, youâre not surprised to discover that you really like this particular way of being held.
You jump just slightly as you feel gentle pressure against you from outside of his sweater, his arms reaching in to cradle you and offer more support. Now feeling even more secure, you nestle yourself against his chest before letting your body fall limp, any tension in your muscles gone as the warmth he offers travels into your body.Â
You look up at him just in time to catch him watching you with a warm smile, offering a shy smile back up at him before hiding your face against him.
âAre you comfortable in there?â he asks softly, beginning to run his hand over your curled up form to further relax you.Â
You shudder softly under the gentle touch, looking up and giving him another nod before looking away again. He chuckles softly, keeping his voice low and quiet as he speaks again.
âCan I tell you a secret?â he asks shyly.
âY-YeahâŚâ you mumble.
âI uh, Iâve kinda been hoping that youâd be okay with this sort of thing. Cuddling, I mean. Iâve been wanting to hold you for a while, I hope thatâs not like, really weird or demeaning or something like thatâŚâ
You feel your face becoming red again, but you push through it and shake your head, offering Drew a small smile. Youâve been secretly wanting this too, and you wriggle and shift to snuggle up against him. You lean your head against his chest, sighing deeply and closing your eyes.
âI like this,â you murmur, âI might fall asleepâŚâ
Drew chuckles and gives you the softest couple of pats with his hand, shifting his hold on you in his arms to make himself more comfortable.Â
âGo ahead, Iâll still be here when you wake up.â
With Drewâs blessing, you yawn softly before adjusting your position one more time. You then press your ear against his chest again, listening to his slow, calming heartbeat and letting it lull you right to sleep.Â
â
Youâre roused from your nap as you hear the door being unlocked and opened, sitting up and peeking out of Drewâs sweater to see Erik having returned home from his shift. Drew briefly lifts his arm to offer him a wave.
âHey man, how was your shift?â he asks, and you lean in as his chest rumbles against you.
âNot too bad,â he remarks, setting his keys down and dropping his backpack carefully onto the floor. He then makes his way over to the couch, and you watch his expression grow curious as he notices the lump on Drewâs chest.
âWhatâs that under your sweater?â Erik asks, leaning in. You blush under his attention, offering a shy wave before ducking down a bit.
âOh my god, thatâs fucking adorable,â he gasps, pulling his phone out and taking a picture.
Drew chuckles, offering you a soothing touch as he slowly rubs his arm over you again.
âThey got really cold, we need to keep the place warmer for them.â
âRight, yeah⌠sorry about that. One sec,â he says, rushing away and upstairs to his room.
Youâre left mildly confused, looking up at Drew as he responds with his own confused expression. Erik charges down the stairs again moments later, his hoodie having been replaced with his own unzipped sweater, and he sits down on the couch opposite to Drew.
âCan I have a turn, if itâs okay with them?â Erik asks hopefully.
Drew looks down at you with a soft smile.
âAre you okay with Erik holding you?â
You nod your head. Youâve been enjoying this time with Drew, but knowing that Erik wants to hold you too, you feel yourself feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Both of these mini-giants want nothing more than to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and apparently cozy as well.
You shudder as you feel a rush of cooler air, the place still taking time to warm up, as Drew unzips his sweater and exposes you. He then gently lifts you with both hands, pulling you away from him and reaching toward Erik. The other brother carefully takes you from Drew, smiling as he brings you over to his chest and holds you close.Â
You smile back, curling up in the same manner as youâd done with Drew. After making sure youâll be steady for a moment, Erik reaches down and brings the zipper together, slowly zipping his sweater up over you and obscuring you from view. Once more, you watch as darkness envelopes you, pausing a bit from the top to give you that same window his brother left for you. Youâre pressed snug against his chest, and you feel his warmth surrounding you.
âLike this, right?â he asks, his arms reaching in to wrap around you and keep you supported.Â
You look up and give him a nod, watching his face light up as he sees you making yourself at home. You snuggle yourself up, feeling as warm and safe as you did with Drew. You see him look back at Drew with adoration and disbelief, sighing deeply and pressing your ear to his chest to listen to his heartbeat. You canât help but laugh to yourself at how much faster it is than Drewâs, a clear indication that heâs very excited about this.
âApparently theyâve been wanting to do this for a while. Well, not this exactly, but just being held and cuddled and stuff, like we wanted to hold and cuddle them,â Drew revealed, his voice just slightly muffled to you from beneath Erikâs sweater.
Erik looks down at you, whoâs blushing and hiding your face against his shirt. Before he came home, you werenât sure if Erik had similar desires, but with Drew so openly revealing that to him, his use of the word âwe,â and Erikâs eagerness to get involved, you can only assume now that he does.
âAww, itâs okay! Thereâs no need to be so shy,â Erik says, rubbing his hand over you as Drew had been earlier, and you slowly melt against him. âNow we all know, and that just means we can cuddle you more going forward, how does that sound?â
You nod your head, a smile on your face as this all sinks in.
âReally, it looks like all we need to do is leave the heater offâŚâ Drew chuckles.
âThatâs mean,â Erik replied, but you laugh quietly, catching his attention.
âHeâs not wrong, this is really nice⌠you guys are so warm.â
You look up at Erik, and he looks back down at you, his concern for you quickly melting into adoration as you smile up at him. He gives you a gentle squeeze, chuckling quietly at your eagerness to rely on them to keep you warm.
âYou know we would still cuddle you anyway, even if youâre already warm, right?â
âMhmâŚâ you mumble, quickly losing interest in continuing a conversation as Erikâs hold on you starts to lull you into an even deeper, sleepier state of calm.
You still feel quite tired from your nap being interrupted, and curl inward more, nuzzling your face into Erikâs shirt. You yawn as you snuggle in, feeling his warmth radiating through you and keeping you nice and cozy. Itâs easy to imagine yourself falling into a doze again, being held and cradled so close.
âNo way, youâre just gonna⌠fall asleep on me like this?â Erik asked, his voice laced with a gentle awe and bewilderment.Â
âThey fell asleep with me earlier before you got back home. I think cuddling like this makes them sleepy.â
Erik looks down at you as though to confirm, and you nod your head. He blinks a few times before grinning.
âThis is the best,â he starts with a soft whisper. âGo ahead and get as much sleep as you need. Weâre not going anywhere,â he softly croons, his hand idly drifting up and down over the lump you form under his sweater.
You feel warm, happy, safe, and loved as you drift off to the sound of Erikâs voice, his breathing, and heartbeat as youâre held so close to him. This isnât how you imagined today would go, but youâre not disappointed in the slightest. You now have not one, but two mini-giants willing to hold and cuddle you whenever you need or want it, and it looks like theyâre going to enjoy it just as much as you do. This living arrangement just got a whole lot cozier.
Part 2 is here! Wow𼚠I hope you enjoy this oneđ§Ą
I Probably should've read through this again, but I'm too embarrassed to đ Despite that fact, there are so many things I could point out that I really like about this comic, but l'll leave talking about any of it to the comment replies.
This took so long to draw oh my gawwww... Gonna be talking a little break from comics for now, but hopefully my next one won't be as painful... It was the lineart I swear-that's what made this take so long.
That, and my horrible layout planning skills... or whatever. I still got five million more ideas, but let's just hope I can find a way to draw them without it melting my brainđŤ
I wish hadn't gone a month without posting when I didn't need to, but I don't want to be setting some silly expectations now that I need to post at least once a month.
Also thank you to that one user that said I can post more than ten images on the web version!!
You wake up feeling awful, and just want to disappear for a bit.
You grumble to yourself as you slowly wake up, feeling extremely disoriented. Your dreams were a confusing mess that felt like it lasted for at least an entire day, and now you have to remember where you actually are. You open your eyes and look around, the day, month and year registering to you finally as you shake yourself off mentally from your dreams.
You look up to see your giant friend, the one whose chest you slept on, idly browsing their phone as they wait for you to wake up. You give them a tap on their chest with your hand to alert them, and they look down at you first with a friendly expression, then one of concern immediately after.
âYou donât look like you slept very well.â
You shake your head, crawling out from beneath their hand as they lift it. You are very not ready to be awake yet, but you donât want to keep your friend stuck in bed, even though you know they wouldnât mind. Today is supposed to be a lazy day anyway, specifically set up to not have any obligations, social or otherwise. You grab your blanket and crawl over toward their chest pocket, pulling the flap back and dragging your blanket inside with you. You then reach out and pull the flap back down, crawl toward the bottom of the pocket and curl up. You feel your friend chuckle beneath you.
âYou just gonna hang out in there all day?â
You offer a halfhearted mumble in response, bundling up in your blanket and trying to ignore the outside world. You feel their hand press over you, their thumb stroking your side.
âAlright, I wonât disturb you then. Let me know if you need anything.â
You sigh as you snuggle against their chest, enjoying the warmth enveloping you within the pocket as youâre still held close, and the sound and feeling of their heartbeat soothing you. Itâs much warmer here than it is on their chest alone, and itâs much easier to retain body heat, ensuring that you stay comfortable with less intervention needed from your friend. You donât mind them still holding you, though, and it seems like theyâre not interested in getting out of bed yet.
They stay as they are for a while, idly stroking you through their pocket as they lay in bed. You assume theyâre probably browsing on their phone, keeping themselves entertained to let you have some more downtime before they get up. Even if youâre feeling rather grumpy, youâre not bothered by their touch or occasional soft laugh at all. Itâs exactly the kind of comfort you need, being held and in their presence while still having your own private space.
Despite having your eyes closed, focusing on their breathing and heartbeat, you canât seem to fall asleep again. Youâre mildly annoyed by this, but thereâs no pressure to function properly today anyway. Thereâs no reason anyone has to be reminded that you exist, meaning your friend can simply hide you away all day if thatâs what you need.
Youâre not exactly sure how much time is passing, but after what feels like roughly an hour, you feel their hand press down a little tighter. You then feel them sit up, finally ready to start their day. The pressure remains until you feel the lifting feeling of them standing up, and their hand comes away, removing the pressure that kept you close and letting air flow around you. You shudder as the cooler air hits from beneath, left swaying as they move around.
âJust a second,â they remark, and youâre more alert for the next few moments.
The cold and swaying doesnât last long as they put on and zip up their sweater, but not all the way. The soft light that was seeping in before is now gone almost entirely, save for a small amount you can barely see if you look up. Youâre tucked back right up against their chest once more, feeling their warmth enveloping you again. You take in a deep breath and stretch yourself out as much as you can before rolling over to find a new comfortable position to lay in. You feel a few soft, affectionate pats of their hand over you as they acknowledge you for the last time in what would be quite a while.
âTake it easy in there, little one, don't worry about anything today.â
You feel their voice rumbling against you, curling inward as you sigh deeply, now left to your own thoughts as you settle in. The motion of their walking, footsteps slow and smooth, relaxes you as they wander through the house briefly before sitting down somewhere, though you canât tell where until you hear the sounds of typing. After some clicking, and a moment of leaning over, you hear sound coming through the speakers, as opposed to their headphones, and you smile to yourself.
You were absolutely expecting some sort of sound to keep you in the loop, but your friend has opted to let you listen in entirely on their gaming. Youâre not sure what theyâre going to play, but you notice early on that theyâve picked a calmer game than usual, likely to accommodate your grumpy mood and keep things light.
You listen to them play for a while, your brain trying to imagine what theyâre doing based on the sounds and music you hear. Occasionally, you hear their heart rate and breathing speed up, or the sounds of frantic clicking and typing before a defeated grunt of annoyance. You laugh a little to yourself, pleasantly entertained, yet still secluded in a dark, warm, and cozy environment.
You havenât been bothering to try to keep track of the time at this point, just going with the flow until they decide to do something else. They get up from their desk, and youâre not sure where theyâre going until you hear the tv start to play at a low volume, likely just for background noise. They then lay down on the couch, and you feel your weight shifting until it rests atop them.
You adjust your position to curl up on their chest, cuddling up as you normally would at night. The weight of their hand rests over your lower half, and their thumb begins to lightly run along the side of your body.
âIs this going to bother you?â they ask softly, and you give them two taps with your hand on their chest in response, a solid âno.â
Youâre enjoying the physical contact as you feel their thumb brushing over you, soothed by their breathing and heartbeat beneath you once more. Youâre basking in the attention being given with no expectations in return. They hold you close because they want to, and youâre incredibly grateful for their presence. You still donât feel amazing, but the day has been bearable because of the care being given to you.
Itâs one of the most common ways they show affection, the way they softly brush their thumb across your entire body. Itâs a small gesture to them, but to you it means everything. Itâs a reminder of just how aware they always are of your size, especially now as it happens seemingly on autopilot. Their massive hands have been carefully trained to handle you based on what you need, whether itâs respect and dignity, or warmth and comfort.
You finally feel what youâve been hoping would eventually happen. Your eyes grow heavy, and you yawn as you roll onto your other side. Your body finally recognizes that the poor quality of sleep you got last night isnât enough, and that you need more. As someone no taller than 3.5 inches, hands are dangerous. Hands can grab, squeeze, crush, pull, or otherwise injure you so effortlessly. Itâs been hard figuring out whoâs hands you can trust, and whoâs to stay very far away from. Theyâre also terrifying even without being in them. Theyâre imposing, threatening, chasing, all encompassing, and can be a petrifying sight when theyâre headed right for you.
This hand, though, the one extended toward you, palm facing upward like a platform, is none of those things. Itâs opened in an invitation, motionless and still as it rests in front of you, waiting. You trust the giant this hand belongs to with your life, showing no hesitation as you slowly climb up onto it.Â
Their skin is warm beneath you, a relief as it begins to seep into you the moment you make contact. Their fingers twitch ever so slightly as they feel your tiny hands on the surface of their hand, an acknowledgment of your presence, and nothing more. You make your way into the center of their palm, their hand being the only thing supporting you now.Â
They donât lift you right away, however. Instead, their hand sits there and holds you as you are. You cast a curious glance upward, seeing them watch you with an enamored smile. You smile back, knowing what theyâre thinking about without having to say anything. Youâre so incredibly tiny in their hand, so light, so delicate and fragile, and theyâre adoring seeing you just sitting there, relaxed and casual about all of this.Â
Given that theyâre not moving, you decide to make yourself at home. Being cradled to their chest is wonderful, but sometimes just enjoying how it feels to be held like this is comforting as well. You lay yourself down, curling up in the dip of their palm and resting your head comfortably on the soft, padded section of their hand just below their fingers. You feel the expanse of warmth beneath you, snuggling in as you sigh deeply and eagerly embrace that warmth.
Thereâs something so special about how deeply you trust the giant watching over you, how easy of a decision it is to make yourself completely prone in their hand. If something were to happen, youâd have less reaction time to escape, but you know that would never happen. You are completely safe here.
You look up as their fingers curl in protectively, as though shielding you from all that could cause you harm. You smile and nuzzle against the soft surface you rest your head on, closing your eyes in the greatest display of trust in the giant that holds you. You feel a shift in movement, but not in the hand beneath you, and you sense a shadow approaching, yet you keep your eyes closed, knowing that they wonât hurt you.
Even still, you sharply inhale when you feel the back of a finger on their other hand brush slowly and softly over your side. You exhale slowly, letting yourself melt in their hand as they encourage you to relax further. You hear a quiet chuckle from them.
âLook at youâŚâÂ
Their voice bears warmth, happiness, and a hint of bewilderment, as though they still canât believe you trust them this much. They continue to stroke you for a moment more before pulling away. You immediately miss their touch, but itâs not long before something else happens.Â
You feel the motion of them finally lifting you up, and you donât move at all. Thereâs no urge to hold onto them, no wariness as to where they might be moving you, no fear that theyâll drop you, and no concern about what theyâll do to you. You simply lie still as you are, letting them bring you wherever they want.
They then stand to their feet, and the motion of them walking soothes you further. Itâs not long before you feel a dropping sensation as they sit down. You donât know where they are, and you donât really care. Youâre happy here, they donât seem interested in putting you down, and thatâs all that matters.
You do, however, know that youâre closer to them, now. You can feel their presence towering over you. You know just how massive they are without opening your eyes, and it comforts you further. You hear them breathing, slow, smooth, content. If theyâre stressed, you can hear it, but right now theyâre just as calm and soothed as you are.Â
It heartens you to know that despite how small you are, how perfectly you fit in their hand, you still bring them plenty of comfort. You know that being able to keep you close like this brings them a sense of security, they know that as long as they have you, nothing will happen to you.
Once again, you feel their other hand approach, and their finger brushes against you. This time, however, their hand lingers close, and you know theyâre in a position where they can keep both hands comfortable while holding you for however long you need or want.Â
You fall into a deep state of relaxation as time goes by, their attention never leaving you as they stroke your side much more slowly now. You donât completely pass out, but every now and then you fall into a light doze⌠only to wake up a few minutes later, remember where you are, and smile as waves of warmth and comfort wash over you again.
You know the struggles this tiny being before you has faced. Everything is dangerous to them, but most dangerous are people when they don't know what their intentions are. If they trusted the wrong person, you shudder to think of how easily they could hurt them in so many ways. This is why it astonishes you that theyâve chosen you as the one they trust the most.
Not that youâd hurt them, of course. That you might accidentally do something like that has given you nightmares, but they donât seem to think that would ever be the case. As you sit and watch them, you stretch out your arm toward them and offer them your hand, an invitation to them. You keep it still as they approach, your heart fluttering as they immediately climb on, like it wasnât even a decision they had to make to do so.
You feel their cold little hands making contact with yours, your fingers twitching as they do. Itâs a reaction you tried to fight back once, worried that they would think you were about to grab them before they told you that it didnât bother them. They said it was nice to see a reaction like that, to know that they affected you in the various ways that they did. So, you let your hand react as you feel their weight crawl towards and settle in your palm.
You know at this point you would be safe to pick them up, but you donât. Instead, you simply hold them as they are, a grin on your face as you watch them so fondly. This minuscule being puts their life into your hands, quite literally, on a regular basis, but you still sometimes have to stop yourself from going through the motions. You need to make sure you take none of this for granted, that you recognize how important it is that they trust you so much.Â
You also donât want to just skip over small moments like this, giving yourself the opportunity to just enjoy how they feel sitting in your hand. You love that they enjoy this as much as you do, it makes it easier to feel less guilty when you want attention from them. You donât even need to pick them up to just hold them like this, theyâre already being held, and you see them begin to take advantage of the fact that you havenât lifted them just yet.
You feel warmth in your chest as they begin to lay down, watching them curl themselves up right in the middle of your hand. Their head rests just below your fingers, taking advantage of that soft, plush section of your hand to cushion it. They relax completely, and you know the warmth you offer them is something they cherish, and that they can be warmed in such a special way in the first place.
You know how much vulnerability this kind of situation puts them in, even more so in this particular position, and you marvel at the amount of trust and confidence they have in you to keep them safe. They cozy themselves right up against you, and you know your world is all the richer for having them in your life. Despite how small they are, they matter so much to you, and itâs so important to you that they can seek comfort and safety from you like this.
You curl your fingers inward in a bid to make them feel less exposed, to protect them from every threat possible, even though you know none exist at this very moment. You have such an ample opportunity to hold them, and youâre going to enjoy every moment of it. They smile as they nuzzle their face against the soft surface theyâre snuggled on, and you watch them close their eyes. Thereâs no greater trust that they can place in you than that, making themselves entirely dependent on you for safety, knowing without a doubt that you wonât do anything to betray that trust.
They look so happy, so content and relaxed, and you canât help but want to interact with them a little. Sure, you have them laying in the palm of your hand, but you know theyâll appreciate this gesture. You bring your other hand over, curling your index finger inward and gently brush it across the side of their body. You feel their sharp inhale as you make contact, waiting for the release of that breath that you know is coming. And there it is, a slow exhale as they simultaneously melt under your touch.
Your heart warms as they make themselves so comfortable in your hand. Theyâre very clearly enjoying this, and you are too. You chuckle quietly, hoping not to disturb them too much as you speak softly to them.
âLook at youâŚâ
As warm and happy as your tone is, youâre unable to hide a hint of bewilderment in your voice, still quite frankly, astonished that you two have made it this far from where you started. If you told yourself the first day you two met that you would end up like this, past-you would have laughed in your face. Nonetheless, here you are, and youâre not complaining at all.
As happy as you are to hold them like this, however, you feel the strain in your arm from holding it in the same position for so long. You pull your other hand away, wincing as you watch them deflate just slightly in disappointment, but you know youâll be back at it before long.
For a moment longer, you think of the best place to sit to keep holding them like this for as long as they want you to. You then slowly lift your hand, smiling as you see that they donât move at all, thereâs no reaction to being picked up. Theyâre already cozy, and you know that they trust that you wonât drop them.Â
You make your way towards a lounge chair, making sure you keep your hand as still as possible to keep your tiny friend feeling safe to stay as they are. Approaching the chair, you slowly lower yourself down into it, bringing your hand close to you to watch them. They havenât moved at all, and now you can ensure your arm is in as comfortable of a position as it can be for the duration of their stay in your hand, however long that may be.
Knowing now that not only are you holding them, but you now have them closer to you, relaxes you immensely. You donât have to worry about anything as long as youâve got them, you just need to make sure theyâre comfortable and happy. Your breathing is even as you settle in, and you reach your other hand back over toward them to continue stroking them as you had been before.Â
You know that youâre a comforting presence for them as well, and that holding them like this gives them a feeling of security, of safety and reassurance. You will always be here if they need you for anything. Whether itâs to seek you out after a nightmare, or to simply be held and stroked exactly like this, you have no problem being that source of comfort for them.
You lean back and close your eyes, focusing on their minuscule weight in your palm, and their soft breaths on your skin indicating that theyâve dozed off. Every now and then they shift, and you feel like you can see their smile growing wider as they do.Â
Theyâre so small, but that doesnât matter. They mean so much to you, and right now, as they doze and occasionally shift ever so slightly, you feel like you have your entire world in your hands, and you couldnât be happier.
I love scenarios where the giant has to earn a tinyâs trust, those are fantastic.
I also love scenarios where a tiny is forced to trust a giant because thereâs either a threat thatâs far more dangerous than the giant, or the tiny is simply more afraid of something else than they are of the giant.
The giant, whoâd been hard at work trying to coax the tiny into their hands, now feels a scrambling of limbs as the tiny immediately climbs into their hands without a second thought when that threat presents itself.
The giant, who might have originally celebrated such a moment, now finds themselves trying to comfort a still terrified tiny while protecting them from any threats, perceived or otherwise.
When the other threat is gone, is the tiny now less scared of the giant, who has just proven that they would protect the tiny? Or does their fear of the giant move right back in, leaving the giant holding a tiny that is terrified of them again?
It's the 4th of July, and you don't want to spend it alone.
You canât believe your luck over the past few days. A human had caught you, but not in the way you feared he ever would. He was simply in the right place at the right time when your worn rope finally snapped, and he had fast reflexes. You didnât hit the ground like you thought you would, having braced from whatever injuries youâd receive from such a fall, or worse⌠instead, you landed on a soft, warm surface.Â
You then found yourself under the gaze of a human, the one who inadvertently saved you from a potentially fatal fall. His eyes were big, blue, and locked right onto you as you lay stunned in his hand, trembling as you realized what had happened. You were still alive, but you were completely at his mercy.
He stared for a few more moments before the shock wore off. He brought his other hand up to cup you in both, making sure you were secure and wouldnât accidentally fall again. He didnât seem angry, at least, but he was definitely curious, and you knew that could easily be far worse.
The moment he saw you crying, curling up in his hands, completely and utterly terrified, however, his expression softened, sympathy in his eyes as he watched you with concern.
âAm I scaring you?â
You nodded your head quickly, desperation for survival taking over as you began to beg for your life.
âP-please donât hurt me, I-Iâm sorry, Iâll leave, just please let me go!â you sobbed, hearing the human sigh softly.
âWhoa, hold on, Iâm not gonna hurt you. Itâs okay.â
You jumped when you felt a soft touch over your shoulder, hearing his voice soften as he rubs his thumb across your arm.
âShh, take it easy, donât-â
It was then that you blacked out, the stress being too much for your brain to handle.
When you opened your eyes next, you found yourself curled up on a folded washcloth, on the ground, near the entrance to the walls youâd been trying to get back to when you fell. Next to you was a small bundle of food, what looked like a new rope, and a note:
Hey,
Iâm sorry I scared you, but Iâm not sorry that I caught you, that would have been a really bad fall. Anyway, I left you some string that should be much stronger than what you were using before, and some food. If Iâd known I had a borrower in my walls, I would have stocked up more, but Iâll fix that later, if you donât leave, that is. I hope you donât, but I also understand if you do. Take care of yourself out there.
   -Raymond
You found yourself in shock as you read the note. How did he know what youâre called? How did he know that you have to leave now? Why did he let you go? You find yourself still pondering these questions now several days later, but you havenât left just yet. You canât afford to now, not at this time of the year.
You know whatâs coming up, and you hate it with an undying passion. The 4th of July is today, and the weather has been wonderful, which is good, not too hot, but it also means plenty of fireworks later tonight.
You donât understand what their fascination with giant explosions is, but it doesnât matter, because they are terrifying. You know that all you can really afford to do is hunker down in your small home, hope nothing gets blown up, and just ride it out. UnlessâŚ
You know this is a stupid idea, it goes against everything youâve been taught as a borrower, but you donât know if you can handle another year alone, scared, stuck in your home while the fireworks are at their worst.
Raymond hasnât done anything to try and meet you again, and you canât scrub the memory of his look of sympathy from your brain. His gentle touch, while contributing to you having passed out, it reminded you of childhood, of how your parents would soothe you when there were fireworks or thunderstorms. You canât believe youâre doing this, but given that heâd let you go, has since been much better at leaving things that are easy for you to take, and has ignored you even if he had a perfect chance to catch another glimpse of you⌠itâs obvious that he cares about your well-being.
You sigh to yourself as you peek out of the kitchen entrance, watching carefully for any signs of Raymond wandering around. When you see him, your heart sinks. Heâs clearly getting ready to go enjoy the fireworks himself, and you feel a rush of anxiety at the thought of being completely alone here.
Just before he puts his hand on the front doorknob, you shout out his name.
âR-Raymond, wait!â
He pauses immediately, turning to look in the direction your voice came from. You stiffen as he spots you, puts his bags on the ground, and immediately makes his way over to you.
âHey, is everything alright?â
You adamantly shake your head, trying not to panic or bail.
âOkay, well Iâm about to head out to see the fireworks show with my friends, do you need anything before I go?â
You look down, wondering briefly if this is fair to him, but before you can say anything else, a firework is shot up, and explodes less than a mile away. You cry out and hide back through the entrance into the walls.
âOh shit,â he murmurs softly.Â
You hear him take a few steps away, peeking out from the entrance to see him holding his phone up to his ear.
âHey! Iâm sorry, but Iâm not gonna make it tonight. Yeah, something just came up. Everythingâs okay, I just need to stay home tonight. Make sure to get lots of video for me. Okay, thanks, have fun, bye!â
You watch him lower his phone back down, tap the screen, and put it back in his pocket before looking back in your direction. Did he just⌠cancel his plans on his own? You didnât even have to plead for him to stay?
He slowly heads back over to you, leaning on the counter as he regards you with a soft gaze.
âItâs okay, Iâm not going anywhere tonight. I didnât realize the fireworks would be scaring you like this.â
You take a tentative step out toward him, trembling and doing everything you can to hold it together. It doesnât work, however. The fireworks are becoming more frequent, and youâre cowering on the countertop before long. Raymond sighs quietly to himself, watching you patiently.
âWhat can I do to help?â
You gaze back up at him, crying out as another explodes close by. You can hear a car alarm going off in response to the proximity, and itâs all too much. You whimper as you panic, but his soft voice cuts through the anxiety briefly.
âOkay, come here, itâs alrightâŚâÂ
You jump as you feel his fingers brushing against you, hearing him gently shush you as he wraps them around you so much more delicately than youâd have thought possible for a being of his size. You feel his warmth around you, your brain struggling to prioritize between being scared of the fireworks, or of being in his hands. Youâre able to shake it off, however, the moment he holds you close to his chest, tucking you against him and holding you with both hands.Â
Youâre immediately enveloped in warmth and pressure around you, the smooth sway of his footsteps distracting you briefly from the building chaos outside. He slowly sinks himself into the couch, and you feel yourself slumping into his chest as he leans back and cradles you close.
âItâs okay, Iâve got you, everything will be just fine,â he promises, his thumb rubbing up and down your back as you cling tightly to his shirt.
You never expected to have any sort of comfort on the night of the 4th, much less from a human, but here you are, putting your trust into a being so much bigger than you for reassurance and physical comfort. He doesnât seem to have a problem with it, either. He keeps himself calm, his presence soothing as he just sits and holds you to himself.Â
âYouâre still shaking⌠How did you deal with this before?â
You shake your head and cling tighter to him, fiercely holding on to the sense of security heâs providing you. Despite trying to hold it in, a quiet sob escapes, and you hear a soft hum from him. He holds you closer, his voice gentle and concerned.
âWere you just⌠terrified in the walls by yourself?â
You slowly nod your head. He immediately gives you a gentle squeeze, the warmest hug youâve ever experienced. You get the feeling that he just wants to hold and protect you. On any other day you might have balked at the idea, but right now, this is exactly what you need.
âYou donât have to be alone anymore. I promise, if you ever get scared, you can always come find me, and I can hold you just like this.â
He pulls you away just enough to brush your tears away with his thumb.
You donât know that youâll be here long enough to consider his offer, but itâs certainly a nice thought, not having to be afraid again. He shifts the way heâs holding you to cradle you closer once more. For now, youâre here, youâre safe in his hands, and you feel⌠okay. Youâre still extremely jumpy and terrified by the loud explosions, but Raymondâs kindness makes it a little easier to bear.Â
They go on for hours, occasionally setting off car alarms and vibrating the walls and floor slightly. By the time the fireworks finally die down, your eyes are red, puffy, and irritated. Raymondâs patience has proven to be strong, however, and heâs made sure you feel as safe and comfortable as you could possibly be in this situation.
He managed to distract you occasionally as he recounted stories. Some were from his childhood, others were of him and his friends performing⌠questionable stunts, many of which made you laugh a little through the tears, and youâve realized that you actually like being around Raymond. You donât mind the fact that heâs held you all night, kept you entertained, and comforted you whenever youâd start to panic again.
The night has left you exhausted, but after being in the safety of his hands for so long, and with the occasional fireworks still being set off, youâre not eager to leave him. You yawn quietly, snuggling up against Raymondâs shirt as you close your eyes. You hear him chuckle, followed by the quietest âawwâ coming from him as he keeps you snuggled close to himself. Any other day that might have set you off, a human cooing over you like this, but not tonight⌠weirdly enough, you feel like heâs earned it, especially if it feels as genuine as it does.Â
âAre you getting a bit sleepy?â He asks softly, and you nod your head.Â
âDo you want me to bring you back to where your home is, or do you want to come to bed with me?â
Itâs not even a question for you. At this point, you know you can trust him. You know the fireworks will continue late into the night, and youâre not ready to feel the absence of his company and comfort.Â
âCan I come with you?â
âOf course you can.â
For the rest of the night, youâre bundled up on his chest as he keeps you close. You feel his heartbeat beneath you, letting it lull you to sleep when sheer exhaustion finally takes you. Youâre startled awake by fireworks every now and then, but feeling his hands gently pressing you to him calms you, and you find yourself falling asleep again within minutes.
It's the 4th of July, and you don't want to spend it alone.

In which youâre offered something you deeply yearn for.
âYou keep staring at me.â
Those words shake you out of your daydream, one youâd be embarrassed to admit is happening more frequently.
âAre you still afraid of me?â
Not necessarily, you think. Youâd been staring at his hands, thinking about what it might feel like to be held by them. Ever since he discovered you and saved your life, heâs been exceptionally patient regarding you not wanting to be handled at all if possible. If itâs not possible, he tries to make it as quick and easy to adjust to as he can.
Given how incredibly gentle he is, youâve not been minding it quite so much lately. In fact, youâve been wondering to yourself what it might feel like for him to just hold you close, to cuddle you against his chest and let you lean against himâŚ
You shake your head when you realize youâre at it again, and you quickly look away to try and hide your red cheeks.
âIf youâre not afraid, then why do you keep staring at my hands?â
You shake your head again, but heâs quick to catch on, annoyingly so. You see him smiling softly from the corner of your eye.
âIf you want me to hold you, all you need to do is ask. You donât have to be shy about it.â
He states it so easily, thereâs no hesitation or judgment in his voice. All you need to do is askâŚ
You take a deep breath, trying to muster all of the courage you can in your tiny little body. You turn to look at him again, seeing him watching you with a patient smile.
âU-um, c⌠could you hold meâŚ? Please?â
His face lights up as you do as he suggests, nodding his head as you take deep breaths to prepare yourself for what youâve just asked for. He reaches over and, using both hands, gingerly scoops you up. You gasp as youâre suddenly in his hold, watching warily as he brings you closer to him. He looks down at you with a friendly gaze, as though waiting for you to respond to his actions. After you anxiously fidget for a moment, he softly speaks up again.
âIs there a particular way youâd like me to hold you? I have no problem with this, but if you want to get more cozy, we can do that too.â
You nod your head as he ends his sentence, speaking up even quieter this time.
âMore cozyâŚ?â you ask timidly.
He smiles, his hands bringing you to his chest and giving you exactly what youâve been hoping and dreaming for. Youâre tucked against him as he leans back, and you nestle in as his warmth invites you closer.
âThere you go, thatâs all you needed to do. You let me know if thereâs anything else I can do for you, alright?â
You nod your head, your eyes closed as you soak in this moment. You feel his thumb move, startling briefly before relaxing under his soothing touch. He rubs his thumb softly over your side, and you begin to nestle in closer. You sigh deeply as you feel his massive fingers keeping you supported, making you feel secure and safe. His warmth seeps into your body with ease, and you nuzzle your face into his shirt, clinging to it with your tiny hands.
âOh my, youâre quite the little cuddle bug, arenât you?â
You nod your head softly once more, not caring quite so much about how shy or embarrassed you feel anymore. Youâve been needing this for a while, and being on your own hasnât been conducive to receiving this kind of attention. While you didnât expect to find comfort from a human, of all things, you still welcome the opportunity to indulge in something youâve dearly missed, and he seems just as eager to provide it to you.
âYou should have said something sooner, sweetheartâŚâ he murmurs, his thumb brushing across the side of your face briefly before returning to your side.
You donât respond this time, instead focusing entirely on the feeling of being held by such large, gentle hands, and being cradled to his chest as his heart beats soothingly inches away from you.
âHere, Iâm going to lie down so you can lay on my chest. Hold on tightly.â
You do as he says, clinging to his shirt as he presses you up against his chest securely with one hand. His other grabs a couch pillow to lay against, and he turns to situate himself horizontally across the cushions. Heâs now halfway propped up on the pillow, and your tiny weight settles comfortably onto his chest as it supports you from beneath. Itâs still at a bit of an angle, so his hands continue to cradle you close to him to keep you feeling secure atop him.
âThere we are, howâs this?â
You take a moment to process all of this. Itâs one thing to be held close to his chest, itâs another thing entirely to be laying on top of his chest. It feels much closer, more intimate and personal, and you feel your face heating up as the weight of the situation hits you.
This human, who you strove so hard to avoid for so long, was now fully invested in making sure you feel safe and warm. He encouraged you to ask for comfort from him, and wasted no time in making sure he could provide it to you.
You offer him a small, shy smile in response to his question as you snuggle in, the weight of his hands over you soothing you. It feels like youâre constantly being hugged, and itâs something youâve been yearning for ever since you ended up on your own. His thumb strokes over you again and again, a gentle touch that begins to lull you into a doze as you close your eyes.
âYou can sleep if you want, youâre safe here.â
And despite this going against all rules in place to ensure your survival, you believe him. You feel like you can let your guard down, like you can let yourself be so incredibly vulnerable to him and that he wouldnât take advantage of you. You feel safe with him, and you let yourself relinquish your control, passing out surrounded by his warmth and soothed by his affection.

One of my favorite aspects of g/t is the gentle testing of boundaries between the two. Especially if there is a communication barrier involved, and the giant canât explicitly ask for consent or explain what they are doing.
The giant gently trying to test how much their tiny is okay with, while trying not to scare them in the process:
⢠Gently caressing their shoulder with a single finger
⢠Playfully poking them on their chest
⢠Cupping their fingers around them without fully touching
⢠Slowly scopping them up and lifting them closer
The whole time the giant is looking for any miniscule sign to indicate whether or not the tiny is okay with this. Waiting to see if they should stop immediately, or are good to keep going. Backing off the moment they hear a tiny whimper or yelp, or gently pushing further as they recieve no signs of protest.
Meanwhile the tiny is wracked with nerves - all they can do in this situation is hope that this giant is trustworthy, and will actually stop if they express their discomfort. They have no power to actually stop the giant if they want to pick them up, hold them, pet them, do anything they want to them. They can only hope that their boundaries will be respected.
