messing around with materials and lighting in blender. I’m getting ‘the incredibles’ vibes from this. 

Here’s a little guy I made today. This is my first real attempt at pixel art. I was specifically focusing on using simple shapes and complimentary colours. Going to animate a run cycle tomorrow. Also, I’ve been starting to learn how to code in C# and I’m planning to make some games using the unity engine.

This will become a painting soon, but it’s just a work in progress right now. It’s so good to use traditional media again and had a lot of fun using unusual undertone colours.

No real backstory to this. I just saw photos of a chicken and a sandwich and decided to do this. take a moment to consider the depth portrayed in this artwork... life changing. 

Basically I’m trying to raise some $$$$ by designing logos to hopefully pay for for a years subscription to schoolism. I be diving back into art soon :)

Had some fun sketching these self portraits today. 1. was done out of my head and 2 and 3 were done looking at a mirror. 2 is probably the most accurate.

So after painting that beetroot character i realised I serously needed to work on my shading/colour blending so I did this practice. I was really focusing on getting good contrast between the lights and darks and the warm and cools. I feel like I’ve had such a breakthrough!
