At Roam Overland, building a campervan has always been about more than creating a beautiful space on wheels. It’s about where that van will take you—the forests, mountains, deserts, coastlines, campgrounds, and quiet places far away from everything else.

Those places are a big part of why we build vans in the first place.

So we wanted every completed Roam Overland build to leave behind something meaningful, too.

For each custom campervan we complete, we plant trees in honor of the build.

It’s a simple gesture, but one we love.

Every Roam Overland van has its own story. We spend months choosing materials, working through tiny details, solving problems, building cabinetry, installing off-grid systems, and turning an empty van into a completely custom home on wheels.

Then eventually, the keys go back to its owner and the real adventure begins.

Somewhere else, something begins growing too.

Built for the Places Worth Protecting

Campervans give us an incredible kind of freedom.

They let us wake up surrounded by trees, cook dinner overlooking a mountain, spend the night under a sky without city lights, and discover places we might never have seen otherwise.

We believe enjoying those places and caring about their future should go hand in hand.

We know planting a few trees doesn't solve every environmental challenge associated with manufacturing, travel, or building vehicles. That's not what we're claiming.

It's simply one tangible way we can give something back.

As Roam Overland grows and more vans leave our shop, we hope the number of trees planted alongside them keeps growing too.

A Little Legacy Behind Every Build

One of our favorite things about custom campervans is knowing how long their stories can last.

A van we finish today might travel hundreds of thousands of miles. It might take its owners across the country, become part of family traditions, carry bikes and dogs and kids, spend summers beside lakes, and collect years of stories along the way.

We love the idea that somewhere, trees planted in honor of that build can be growing right alongside those adventures.

So when a client picks up their completed Roam Overland campervan, they're not only leaving with something we built specifically for them.

They're leaving a little something behind, too.

It’s not often we get asked to do a mobile classroom with a 72” touch screen tv that can be hung outside, but by golly when we do we deliver! Soon after this they asked us to do another trailer of theirs, repeat customers are the ultimate compliment!

3 TV’s, seats for 8, on board internet, a smart board that rivals the best of them, and can be moved outside for larger groups.

Pebble: Small Footprint. Big Ideas. Elevator Bed Included.

Pebble may be compact, but this campervan is packed with seriously smart design. The star of the show? A motorized elevator bed that lifts up and out of the way when it’s not needed, completely transforming the space below. By day, the van feels open, spacious, and ready for living; by night, the bed lowers down and turns it into a cozy little home on wheels.

Every inch of Pebble was designed to work harder—from clever storage and a functional kitchen to warm finishes and all the little details that make a campervan feel less like an RV and more like home. It’s proof that you don’t need a massive van to have a beautiful, comfortable, fully functional adventure rig.
