Roadside Fall Theater Lab

Our first story to performance exercise,based on terrible holiday memories,produced this “ Tammy’s Story” Her story involved a 1984 Christmas wherein one of her neighbors told her she was getting an Atari, and her mom said she would have to take it back. At the end of the story, she still got an Atari for Christmas anyway. The result was very fun. Tammy Clemons is a doctoral candidate visiting for her project on how media affects youth when used for Activism or as a platform for most anything

The Story Circle, a cornerstone of Roadside Theater's methodology ,is how we gather and collect the narratives that are used in our story to performance plays and workshops .The topic of this circle was "worst holiday you can recall".

We’re heading into our second week of the Roadside Theater Lab and enjoying our beloved Boone Motor Building as our office space. The historic building, in downtown Whitesburg ,is wheelchair accessible and accommodating for people of all genders and gender expressions.
