waiting for her friends and taking a look around the various things set up in the park, yuzu felt fully back in her persona 5 aesthetics. a new area unlocked to explore, she just walked around, interacting shortly with all available locations to find out what they would offer her. 

the tarot booth seemed definitely like something she wanted to check out, if only to see if her representative major arcana was still the fool. 

right now however she continued to wander, spotting a guy standing by himself under a tree who admittedly looked like a potential confidant disguised as an npc. yet his looks made him stand out just enough for yuzu to detect that he was approachable and potentially had more than two lines of generated dialogue.

“that’s true,” she muses along, remembering the countless friendships she lost due to a lack of staying in touch or having updated contact information. “ ’s a lot easier t'lose touch when yer not seein’ each other once a while.” nodding along in agreement, his next question doesn’t exactly surprise her.

“I’m from daegu. but I kinda grew up a globe trotter. lived in japan n’ canada,” she explains. “I feel more comfy talkin’ in satoori,” she tags on before casting a glance back at him. “what about ya? yer ain’t grown up in korea either?”

judging by his words she figures that would be the case but she wanted to know where he was from. if only to string a little bit of small talk along. the guy seemed genuinely nice and was comfortable to chat with.

“Japan and Canada?” Wooseok says the words excitedly as he looks at her, Wooseok has never been to either country before, but he has heard countless of good about them, and he wishes to visit the countries “that’s so cool! How long did you live in each place? And for how long have you been in Korea?” Wooseok ask curiously, now that they’re on the topic, he’s rather curious.

Wooseok nods, he thinks back to his home country for a second, does he miss it? Yes… if he had the chance would he move back? Probably not, even though he doesn't have many friends here in Korea he adores them and loves them, and furthermore he couldn’t leave Felix. “I’m from Denmark, born and grew up there, so quite far away actually”

was there a proper way to do this—were they rushing into this? felix never really had a stable relationship before, so he couldn’t say. as much as he tries to rack his brain for an answer, he isn’t given any. if there is a blueprint out there to how relationships should go, felix and wooseok have probably messed that up already. after all, they met in one of the strangest manners, that being felix waking up in wooseok’s room with little to no memory, on valentine’s day.

and yet, if felix was asked whether he would change their first meeting if it was possible, he’d say no. to him, it was perfect. valentine’s day felt a little less lonely, and wooseok was fun to be around. he’s happy with how everything plays out. their unconventional first meeting makes things feel a little more special, too.

even though felix never allowed himself the luxury of a healthy and loving relationship, it’s not like he never kissed. he has even done more than that, he’s not as inexperienced as he seems to be. so why is he nervous right now? was it because it’s wooseok, someone he genuinelylikes? the thought makes his cheeks redder, his heart beating faster as time continued to pass.

time seems to have gone slower when wooseok ran a finger over his lips, causing his breath to hitch. at the same time, everything is happening so fast, because the next thing he knew, wooseok’s lips are on his own. he’s frozen for a moment, surprised that this is even happening. and yet, it feels as if he’s been waiting for it. snapping out of his daze, he’s overcome with the urge to be closer to the older. he doesn’t deny himself this, wrapping an arm around the other and pulling wooseok in closer as he returns the kiss, head tilting.

One thing is for sure though, Wooseok is excited, he’s very excited. He feels as if he’s been waiting for this, like he’s been counting days till he had enough confidence to ask.

There are so many thoughts going through Wooseok’s head, like what if the other feels pressured? What if he went too fast? What if Felix actually only saw them as friends. Even after the yes there’s a bit hesitant, because what if, what if this and what if that. Wooseok doesn't want to pressure the other, he doesn't want to go too fast, he wants to follow the other’s pace, even if he’s impatient, even if he really wants this now.

Even in the kiss he had a bit of nervousness in him. Because what if when he pulls away the other realizes they don’t like Wooseok at all? What if this is an eye opener, Wooseok is sure he has heard of things like that happening before. That one doesn’t realize they don’t like a person until after kissing them, it’s possible, right? However Wooseok doesn't want to think about sad things anymore, he pushes his nervousness away and begins thinking happy thoughts while enjoying the moment.

it’s why he has no idea what’s keeping wooseok by his side. he’s awful with affection, even though he’s slowly fixing that with the older. with the way wooseok always teases him, always gives him the affection he craves and being content with the way he reacts—blushing way too easily for comfort and getting flustered with just a brush of his hand, felix gradually became used to it, he managed to make himself accept a part of himself that he’d kept locked away for a very long time.

he doesn’t know if he could ever make up for the positive impact the older had on him, but he wants to try.

felix is holding a box in his arms, wrapped up in a pretty pink wrapper and a red bow. he’s nervous, he wonders whether wooseok would come to like the gift he had gotten him—he racked his brain for a great idea, and this was the best he could come up with. he has every intention of taking wooseok out on another date, and this time felix insists he’d be paying.

he’s trying his best to muster a big smile, but he can’t exactly push down the nerves he was feeling bubbling inside him. “hi hyung,” he greets softly, hoping his voice doesn’t give away soon. seeing m, however, makes him feel a little calmer. he thinks he has the right size in regards to the present, looking at the dog now, so that puts some of his worries at ease.

felix steps inside, taking a breath with each step as he tries to reassure himself again. he turns to wooseok, holding up the box for the other to take. he’s gripping onto it a little tightly, nerves spiking up the moment he lets the other see it properly. “happy birthday!” he says. “i wanted to get you something, since you’re always the one spoiling me… i’m not sure if you’ll like it to be honest, so if you don’t… just tell me! i’ll get you something else, it’s okay!” he’s starting to ramble, and he has to take another deeper breath to stop himself.

“a-anyway…” he stumbles over his words. “here it is, my present to you.” he closes his eyes and extended his arms. felix is too nervous to properly watch the older’s reaction, but he does eventually crack one eye open out of curiosity. internally, he hopes wooseok would like the gift. he put a lot of thoughts into deciding what he should get the other. even though he says he would willingly get wooseok another present, he’d be disappointed if wooseok didn’t like his first choice at the end of the day.

Wooseok smiles bigly, just the other’s ‘hi hyung’ does things to him, suddenly he feels way happier and his heart starts beating a bit faster. Wooseok has never really thought much of the word hyung, but whenever Felix says it, it just sounds so cute and special. But to be honest, Felix could make anything special if he wanted to, he just has that kind of effect, he’s amazing.

It’s been around four years since someone last gave him a birthday gift, beside himself. Wooseok always buys himself something small for his birthday, but usually it’s just his favourite food, and honestly? He’d be okay with any kind of gift, especially when it comes from Felix. That’s what Felix is like, making the most simple things great, gosh Wooseok likes him so much for it.

his worries began to spike up further when wooseok clicked pause, alarming felix almost immediately. he bites on his bottom lip as he looks up at the older, his nervous tick in place. when he was about to ask what was wrong, if wooseok wanted to go to the toilet or something. he wasn’t given the chance to ask, because his words died on his lips when wooseok places a hand against his cheek.

“oh…” he says, relieved that he hadn’t done anything wrong to upset wooseok. then, it hit him.can i kiss you? red coated his cheeks, down his neck and up to the tip of his ears. “r-really?” wooseok would never ask for that just for the sake of asking, right? the older is a tease, sure, but he’d never make a joke out of something like this. once again, he bit his lip, and his gaze fell to wooseok’s lips. it took a while to get the words out. “y-yeah… yeah, you can.”

Wooseok was never the first in a relationship, he had never been. He had never been the first to make a move, the first to flirt, the first to hold the other’s hand, the first to ask allowance to kiss, he just hadn’t. Perhaps all his life he had been shy and now that he had met Felix suddenly he wasn’t, Felix had an effect on Wooseok, and Wooseok only saw it as positive. Felix made Wooseok more brave, able to do the things he couldn’t before. 

Wooseok wondered, did he have an effect on Felix too? Did Felix act differently with Wooseok than he did with others, had Wooseok changed him? Because for sure Felix had an effect on Wooseok. Sometimes Felix would make Wooseok shy, something Wooseok rarely ever became, most of the time Felix would make Wooseok braver. Felix also made Wooseok think before he talked or acted, Felix had an oh so positive effect on Wooseok.

Wooseok could barely believe the words he had let out, the fact that he had finally asked in, and in a second so many thoughts went through Wooseok’s head. What if the other said no? What if the other felt pressured to say yes? What if the other just wanted to watch a movie? tugging the cap deeper into her face, yuzu couldn’t quite deny how his wording did hit closer to home than he probably intended. “sometimes bein’ lonely’s good,” she replies vaguely before lifting her cap, a wide smile on her lips again.

“but yeah, I’m waitin’ for ma friends,“ she responds. ”will be nice t'meet up with ‘em. we usually just chill t'gether online, y'know?“ she continues to fill the silence, deciding to stand beside him instead.

as she thinks his words over however, yuzu continues to get a little more curious. ”y'dun got many pals?“ if the guy phrased it as him being 'lonely’, perhaps yuzu could really take him under her wing as a new confident.

Wooseok looks at the female, something about her seems familiar, it feels like he has seen her before but he’s so unsure about where. Perhaps they have met before, a short meeting like this where either he or she approached the other and they talked, perhaps it’s from somewhere else has seen her.

felix doesn’t usually talk this much when he is hanging out with someone, no matter who it was. it’s not that he purposely keeps to himself. he tries as hard as he could to initiate some sort of conversation no matter what it was, he isn’t the best at coming up with topics though, so he’d rely on the other party more often than not. that isn’t the case with wooseok, he’d spoken a lot more than usual and that says a lot about the current stance of their relationship. he wants to keep talking to wooseok, especially when the other would give him a smile that could melt his heart.

he doesn’t mind when wooseok wraps an arm around him, it’s nice. he thinks he can definitely get used to this. felix clicks on the movie and hits play, intent on watching the movie as he takes one popcorn at a time. the movie is as good as the reviews said they were, he wishes he could watch the movie in a bigger screen but this will have to do. seeing the zombies in a bigger screen might not be the best idea anyway. he’s starting to grow attached to the characters, and somehow he knows not a lot of them will make it through to the end.

when yet another character falls, felix wonders if he can make it through the entire movie without shedding a tear, his eyes were already becoming watery. he doesn’t realise that wooseok hadn’t been paying attention to the movie when he makes a comment. “that’s so unfair, why does the villain get to live but the good guys start to die out first?” he looks up at wooseok, surprised that the older was already looking at him, but he continues. “am i stupid for feeling so much over this?” he can’t stop himself from pouting up at the other.

Wooseok has long away given up on focusing on the movie, he’s way too focused on Felix and his own thoughts. So many thoughts are going through his head at once, Wooseok isn’t often like this with people, thinking this much, if thinking at all. Wooseok usually just does whatever, he’s often the type to talk before he thinks, but with Felix? Oh is it different, he always thinks thousand of words before talking them. He’s always thinking about whether he’s making the other uncomfortable, whether the other likes him back. And ever since Wooseok admitted to himself that Felix now was a crush he has thought about what he is to the other, they must have something.. right? But what does Felix think of him, does Felix see Wooseok as a crush too? Or hasn’t Felix gotten that far?

Now that Wooseok is caught up in his own thoughts he begins thinking about something, what made Wooseok fall for Felix? Was it some kind of love at first sight, the fact that all happened so suddenly, that they woke up in the same bed one day without knowing anything and then just for some reason deciding to go on a date? Or was it perhaps how Felix reacted to Wooseok’s flirting, how he would blush, stutter, get so flustered, Wooseok absolutely loved teasing and flirting with Felix. Perhaps it was just everything about Felix that Wooseok loved, perhaps it was a combination of Felix being so cute, his personality being so great, how Felix was so cute… yeah… perhaps it was just everything.

“yes, it is.” the way wooseok practically spat out the answer made felix doubt the other’s answer, even though he feels that it was rude to do so. still, he couldn’t help but ask, “are you sure you like romantic comedies?” at the end of the day, he doesn’t want to watch something that the both of them wouldn’t enjoy. “hyung,” he says, unable to hold back a giggle, “you can tell me if something doesn’t suit you, you know. we can watch something we’ll both like.” it’s cute, the way wooseok didn’t want to reel back his previous answer. it makes felix feel as if he wasn’t the only one irrationally nervous over this entire date, if it could be called that.

at the tug of his shirt and wooseok’s words, felix took his laptop and set it on the floor, then tugging on the blanket from his bed and adjusting so it covers both of them. he gave up hiding the red on his cheeks, placing the bowl of popcorn in between them so they could share it. he also drags his three pillows onto the ground, sitting on one of them just for comfy’s sake. he’s glad his room isn’t as messy as it could be, he’s pretty sure he cleaned the floor yesterday too. all in all, things are going well. hopefully it stays that way.

not forgetting wooseok’s request, he presses closer to wooseok, although he could already feel his nerves spike up the closer he gets. he manages to lean the side of his head against wooseok’s shoulder, reaching out to click his lists. “what about drama then—or mysteries? or like, train to busan?” that’s a pretty popular movie that he hasn’t watched. it doesn’t seem to focus on romantic elements either, what with being about zombies and all. “is that okay? i don’t think people say it’s scary.”

Wooseok looked away, for how long had they know each other? It hadn’t even been that long, yet Felix questioned him when he told a lie. Did Felix know him that well already? Or perhaps Wooseok was just easy to read? Wooseok didn’t know why but he’d like if the first reason was the answer, that truly after such a short time the other just knew him well, that they already were getting close. That would be nice, the thought of them being close made Wooseok smile. Finally, Wooseok looked up again at the other, he didn’t say anything yet, he just smiled. Perhaps Wooseok wouldn’t have to suffer through watching something he didn’t like. How nice.

Wooseok watches the other as they get ready, getting the pillows and the blanket. Personally Wooseok is afraid that it’ll be too hot with both cuddling and the blanket, but then again, Wooseok doesn’t usually mind being hot, and furthermore it isn’t like its that hot. So most likely they will survive, and if not they can take off the blanket. Wooseok puts his arm around Felix as the other leans their head on his shoulder, Wooseok smiles softly as he feels very comfortable in the position. Wooseok has heard of train to busan and how it should be good, perhaps he’d prefer to watch that “that… sounds better” he says “thank you” he mumbles, though with how close they are the other probably heard it.

he wasn’t sure when was the last time he had someone in his room that wasn’t a friend, if ever. felix still confused on what to label their relationship, but he supposed there was no need to labeleverything. he wondered what wooseok thought of all this, what felix was to the elder, after spending a few ‘dates’ together. he pursed his lips, knowing that he wasn’t exactly brave enough to outright ask wooseok at this point in time. maybe later, maybe he didn’t need to and he was just overthinking things.

right, movies. “i didn’t know you were the type to like romcoms, hyung.” he commented honestly, reaching once again to take them to his list. “do you know to all the boys i’ve loved before?” he asked, head tilted to the side. “i heard it was cute, a little frustrating maybe. we can go with that, if you want. unless you have other suggestions.”

he got off his bed then, walking over to his table, where there was an assortment of snacks. he picked up the bowl of popcorn, before settling back on the bed. “i wasn’t sure what you wanted…” he didn’t even think to ask wooseok before the other arrived—felix wasn’t sure why he was always so disoriented when it came to wooseok. “i hope this butter popcorn is okay?” he laughed a little, scratching his cheek. “i don’t mind eating on the bed, to be honest. or we can do it on the floor. ah, we can connect my laptop to the tv outside if you want, but my roommate might join in or pop up every few times.”

for some reason, felix didn’t really want that. as much as he enjoyed his roommate’s company, and he does want wooseok to get along with beomgyu if wooseok was going to come by often, he also wanted to be alone with the other. just the thought was enough to make him blush. “your choice,” felix said.

Wooseok hasn’t felt this kind of feeling in a while, and for a while it has seemed like he’s only feeling this feeling while he’s with Felix, what feeling is this? It’s being nervous, Wooseok isn’t one to feel nervous, yet whenever he’s with Felix he’s nervous, just for a second, scared that he’ll do something so the other won’t like him anymore. Wooseok isn’t one to worry so much, he’s not the type to overthink like this. Yet when he’s with Felix sometimes he feels as if he’s a whole other person. 

Wooseok bites his lips, well technically he wasn’t into romantic movies, but how was he supposed to tell Felix that when he had just suggested they watch a romantic movie? It would make no sense… “ah well I’m just… a bit into everything” he spat out, that wasn’t completely true and he only hoped Felix didn’t notice that. “I’ve never heard of that one before, is it in English?” he asked curiously.

days off were rare, yeosang held those days close to his heart and sought to enjoy them as much as he could, before needing to clock in the next night. most of the time, he’d spend the days alone. other times, his roommate would keep him company if he wasn’t busy. there were a few friends he would hang out with, but most of the time he kept to himself. but today was different, this time he decided to invite wooseok over. he wasn’t even sure for what. honestly, he wasn’t expecting wooseok to agree that easily. now that wooseok is here, settled into his room, yeosang had to think of something to do. so, he decided on netflix.
