Officially, his kendo skills are said to surpass the level of a typical high school student. That means he likely didn’t start practicing kendo only after entering high school. Yet he chose to attend a high school that doesn’t even have a kendo club. Why is that?

And why isn’t he the captain of the kendo club, but rather the vice-captain? It’s an important position, of course, but considering he helped establish the club from scratch and is supposedly exceptionally skilled, it’s strange that he isn’t the captain.

Ace’s first impression feels a lot better this time. The worst portrayal was definitely in the novel, then in the game — the anime version is by far the most toned down.
