nephew asked for a wooden "up" house and a wooden "up" house he got! got the model kit on sale from "woodenmodelgifts" on etsy. painted with acrylic paint and acrylic marker. used transparent vellum paper for the windows and filled it with fairy lights. the balloons are styrofoam balls secured by toothpicks. not happy with how messy the balloons look and so I'll probably re-do them at some point. used superglue to secure the model and mod podge to seal it. nephew was happy and that's all I really care about!
